this thought is only in reference to dying before armeggedon.. they idea of heaven and hell, in the non-jw christian world is: if your good you go to heaven.

I got to thinking about death the other day, now that Holloween is here. This thought is only in reference to dying before Armeggedon.

They Idea of heaven and hell, in the Non-JW Christian world is: If your GOOD you go to Heaven. If your BAD you go to Hell. Well i go to think about the argument a friend made about God's wants exclusive loyalty. Either your with him, or your against him. NO GRAY area. So if there is a GOD, than there is Devil. If there are Angels aiding Gods children, then there are Demons causing havoc. Then why if there is a Heaven...and no Hell in JW World? Something seems to be missing.

So we can agree that in the JW world:
If your GOOD, you live till 90 yro and die. Your Reward: Heaven or live forever on Earth.
If your BAD, you live till 90 yro and die. Your Reward: Nothing.

So when we die we supposedly are "not conscious of anything".
That means that whether you are a GOOD or BAD, when you DIE, WE are in the same state.
You wont know anything until the Ressurection, because you are "not conscious of anything".

So if you are not chosen cause you were BAD... you wont know the difference cause your DEAD, and "not conscious of anything"!
So aren't you suppose to be conscious of what is happening to know...
"Oops I screwed up", or "Damn those JW were right", or "Stupid, you should have listened"?

I does not make sense to me. A place like Hell, makes more sense.
Anyone ever thought about this?

ELDERS want to meet with me?

its been about 5 years since i've talked to the elders in the my old congregation.

now the elders from my parents congregation, want to come by and talk with me (sheperding call?).

i know one of them, i believe they feel obligated since i llive in there territory.

I dont have any plans on going back. I would like to remain in "Faded" status, because of family. I dont know what my family would do if i where disfelloshipped. Im basically worried about the relationship I will or will not have, with my nieces and nephews. As zealous as my Brothers and sisters are...i think they would cut me off from them....that would definetly be devastating to me.

For now I think i will meet with the elder (to score point with parents). I will be careful and Lie, Lie, Lie when i have to....dont care.

I dont believe they have anything on me. I smoke da weed, (im sick..wink..wink), not the Tobacco. Im not in any serious relationship with Non-JW, or have SINNED of the disfellowship variety. I have a beard...but i can defend it, know problem.

Regarding the question: "Do you believe this is Jehovah's Organization?". or, "Do you still feel you are one of Jehovah's Witnesses?"

its a tough one, i think i can satisfy there question, with answering: "Jehovah is the only god I have knowed and followed...Do I believe in Allah, or any other false god?...NO, of course not.

Anyone else have a better answer?

Its been about 5 years since i've talked to the elders in the my old congregation. Now the elders from my parents Congregation, want to come by and talk with me (sheperding call?). I know one of them, I believe they feel obligated since I llive in there Territory. Should i be worried? I do remember reading somewhere about the Elders are being pushed to get the inactive members back in or are they looking for a reason to disfellowship me?

Any suggestions on how to handle this, or What to expect?

Ground Zero Mosque

do you agree that there should not be a mosque in the area that was wiped out by muslim extremists?

on the view, it was discussed with bill o'reilly and the ladies of the view.

joy behar and whoopie flipped because bill said "muslims" were responsible for the carnage there and it would not be appropriate for a mosque in that area.. what do you think?.

The Catholic church have been behind horrific acts against mankind. Yet we dont blame the church when a catholic drug dealer blows away people at the border. "I'm killing in the name of GOD."or "GOD told me to do it". Wow, never heard that before.

Wow. I traveled to california a few years ago...and it was almost day and night, how different JW's (outside the KH) are. I went to a club and could not tell them apart from worldly (ordinary) people. I thought it was just me and my old school midwestern ass. They sure are more liberal in CA.

Should Immigrants Be Made To Learn English If They're Living In The USA?

Maybe, i think they should be encouraged more, to learn to speak and read in English. Making them see clearly the pros and cons.

Ditto. When you move to a DIFFERENT country, you need to adapt, or your not going to be happy.

Ditto. I have friends who still believe they dont need to learn English....ugh. because the goverment makes it to easy for them not to need to learn it. Lots of things are in English and Spanish, Polish, etc... in Chicago.

I ask them: Then why do i still have to help you read a menu in a restaurant....silence.

I tell them: Its not easy to learn a new language, but when you finally do, You will have a sense of accomplishment, become self-relient, have some confidence to travel freely. It will enrich your life, even if they dont get a job using it.

there seems to be a great deal of interest in the subject.. so, i ask our members, what do you think about the veracity of the biological theory known as evolution?.
