  Who was the author of Revelation?

  i was watching a program on the history channel the other night and it was mentioned that the author of the book of revelation is not known.

  it is thought to be "john" but they said it could have either been john the baptist, the apostle john, or maybe a completely different "john.

  what is the org's view?

  i had to take my dad to the va hospital for a doctor's appointment and in almost every waiting room there was magazines not even recent issues.

  you have to wait for freaking ever at the va hospital so i decided to do my civic duty and i went around this huge hospital collecting magazines and would throw them in the nearest trash can.

  nobody cared until i got on the 4th floor.

  i saw a man (possibly a dub!

  ) enter my jw neighbour house with some tinsel on his head(he looked as if he had horns on his head).. the same neighbour also z 2 me that rather than pinning my hopes on the lottery, i should look 4ward 2 a paradise earth,where u could b rich byond your wildest dreams(something like that).

  i figured that this topic must come up from time to time; especially moreso over here in north america.. as some of you are well aware, i posted a lovely thread about the upcoming birth about my nephew.. i'm thrilled about him, i simply just can't wait.. anyways, having been born here in north america, specifically: canada.

  circumcision was common, if not all the rage in the 1950s, and 1960s and probably up until the 1970s.

  with national health care, you can bet that the medical profession saw many dollars with regards to foreskins (sorry for graphic remarks).

  i've been out for about 10 years and, to be honest, i have begun to worry less and less about what that org.

  but in eman's recent post, "you have one shot", sirona mentioned about all the lies that the wtbts have told.

  i have read c of c, but my memory is fading on what some of the more blatant lies that i recall from that book and other articles.. just in case i have an encounter with a jw who may actually be considering leaving but wants more support/reasons to leave, can people help me by refreshing my memeory on the biggest lies that they have told, that would catch their attention the quickest?

  The History Channel needs 2 do some research,it couldn't b John the Baptist(at least,1 assumed not) b/c he supposedly lost his head by 1 of the Herodians.
