  apparently, there are strange coincidences if you play pink floyd's "dark side of the moon" when the mgm lion is doing the third roar on "the wizard of oz".. i don't have either so i haven't tried it but if nothing else it may make the film a bit more interesting!

  yeah, i don't buy cd's anymore because every store i go to they cost frikkin $19.00.

  I remember when cd's cost HALF that much - not even 10 years ago. Crazy.

  yeah, maybe America will soon realize that EVERY corporation is ripping people off, whether in this country or in other countries.

  where'd you get this database from?

  a theory i keep throwing around in my head is this:

  "God" as we know it is in fact superior life form from elsewhere in the Universe that used the Earth as their "science project" just as we now are starting to stumble on how to clone and replicate life and could very well take this knowledge and implement life somewhere else as long as the surroundings supported it.

  i was just browsing through the creation book and it claims there's no proof of mankind before 6,000 years ago on the earth.

  is this true?

  the quote a lot of sources in that publication that are against evolution - just wondering if any of these may have been taken out of context possibly??

  I found some interesting articles after posting that, but the ones mentioned below are even more useful.

  thanks everyone for your input. i just find it amazing how much WTS bends, stretches and distorts the truth. As a dub I never challenged the info in the publications cuz I never figured they'd take anything out of context or plain lie about something.

  It's hard to trust ANYONE these days.

I'm not against the idea of creation at all, i just don't know how the JW 6,000 year thing coincides w/ science...???

  yeah...that's the thing w/ emails, messages, etc...can never catch tone of voice, thus picking up on possible sarcasm or not. all is understood...

  yeah man, cali rocks. i love it out here. i miss NYC a lot, but it's good to be away from the concrete jungle. NYC is a nice place to visit, to much to live there though.

  air quality out here sucks, but forntunately santa cruz has really great air because it's right in between the ocean and a mountain. gotta drive up to SF for culture though, but it's worth the drive.

  i understand both tee jay's and valis' comments. props to both of ya...

  yeah...sometimes the interracial thing is a different kind of "crush" or a phase an individual goes through. There's definitely stuff to think about, but for me the emphasis should be placed on the love factor, not the race factor. If you're REALLY ready for love, committment, marraige, etc...everything should work out, regardless of race.
