Priest,
Are you drunk or just a complete asshole?

last night he called at 2 am, woke my wife up, she answered the phone.
he was drunk, yelling and threatening to break into our house and physically harm me because i had his sorry ass thrown out for punching my stomach and destroyed our property while drunk on that day on july 8th.. she hit the flasher button (strobe light attached to a remote thingy that is activated by a remote button) and woke me up.
i go to her room and find her crying.

turns out, he really doesn't seem to like anything spiritual.
he hasn't been to a meeting in weeks.
we went out with a bunch of jws the other night and at the end he told me he was pissed they brought spiritual things up.
Patience my dear. Seems like he might be on the right track.

latest news is that tj is up and around but is living in a house on the wallkill properties.. he is being tended to by a group of the societies doctors and nurses to make sure that he is continuing to improve.. shucks, guess he may be around giving orders for some time yet.. japster.
When a rank and file Bethelite has serious health issues, they usually send him/her home after awhile. Where would they send Teddy?
He gets the royal health care treatment and all the perks that go with it such as being tended around the clock.
The rest of the peons can just die. After all, they believe that they will be ultimately rewarded in the resurection.
I guess Teddy just doesn't want to leave yet!

At a Circuit Assembly in 1970 at the old Central Kingdom Hall in Pittsburgh (Oakland) PA. I don't remember if the Assembly was there or if we had to go there to use the pool in the basement.

a sister rang and left a message to see how we are....but i called back the next day and she said...."oh sorry i have no time to talk, the circuit oversear is coming for dinner, can you call back?
" this reminds me of c.o dinners it's a major suck up...like jesus and his apostles are coming for dinner.
the pioneers like this sister always get the c.o to come over.. anyone had the pleasure?.
Back in the 1980's, we had Harry Mitani and his wife (I think her name was Mishi) over for dinner.
Don't remember what my wife made but it was a very good evening.
The conversation was great and Harry really enjoyed my "ham radio" shack.
We talked about brothers he knew that were ham's in other states. some of them I talked with on a regular basis.
They were the most down to earth couple ever. Guess that's because they raised their own family and knew what it took to make ends meet.
When the ones who had dietary restrictions (picky eaters [snobs]) visited the cong., I felt sorry for those who volunteered to feed them.

i did a few jw weddings - quite a few in fact, though the number escapes me nowadays.. this one will be a 'civil union' - not a legal wedding.
one of the persons getting 'unioned' has a pending divorce, one that they believed would be finalized by now and isn't.
so, they want to have the ceremony, say vows, and then later go to a judge and have a quick legal ceremony.. they want a somewhat 'christian' ceremony.
Jeff,
If the divorce isn't complete yet.......isn't that called Bigamy? Do you want to be a party to something like this. You have been very "staunch" about many other things, why not this?
CYOA my friend. I would think twice about officiating this union even if it isn't registered.

where are people like ozziepost, unclebruce, jt at??.
do you ever wonder where certain people are?.
I often wonder how Czarofmischief is doing. He joined the Army a couple of years ago and was in OTC to become a 2nd Lt.
Never met him, but knew his Dad when we were elders many moons ago.

this is a hall in oceanside, california.
it is hidden away from the street on a nondescript lane.. .
no windows!.
Put a 12 foot high chain link fence with razor wire around it and it would look like a small jail. Other than that it looks like someones storage warehouse.

startfragment.
during the appeal period of one week we sent the following letter to approximately 22 of our oldest and closest friends.
im including it here because it conveys how we feel at present, looking back over the half-century of our lives.. dear ____,.
This has to be the best letter of explanation I've ever seen. Very kind and loving and precisely to the point.
I wish you a very happy life out of the WTBS.
