If you DA yourself are you giving in to the GB?
by bronzefist ini'm not criticizing anyone's decision to da themselves...just wondering what the advantages are.. if the whole da thing is something made up by the gb why make them happy by playing by their rules?
how are they hurt by your decision?
why not just walk away?

I second IP's remarks and would only add that at the time I DA'd I was glad those in attendance at that meeting would hear that I chose to leave.
Btw, nice to see another fellow Wisconsinite on the board.

Are people still becoming JWs in the West?
by greendawn ingiven the exposure that the wts receives on the internet or in books and the fact that the public in general must have realised by now that the jws are a double faced organisation that does not deliver what it promises, do you know of any total outsiders, ie those that did not grow up as jws, that are now moving into this org?
.
to us who have been there and seen it all this seems very odd, but no doubt many of these new dubs will in the future move out in the midst of a lot of turbulance.

There are still a few idiots who amble in from time to time. They seem to like the "love", "family atmosphere", "cleanliness", and "purpose"..

When a thought to do something nice for someone comes up (especially for your mother), DO IT. To Hell with the consequences. You won't regret it.
