43 + 7 = 50 years.

I always wondered if a person was baptized in 1970, then df'd in 1980, reinstated in 1985, and then inactive since 1990, have they been "in" 36 years, 31 years, or 15 years? Does being "in" start from the first meeting or the date of baptism? Do all the years your parents took you count?
