  Websites with pictures from Watchtower/Awake/brochures?

  i know a few have been posted from time to time, but it's a rather hard thing to search for!

  does anyone have links to sites (or topics) that have pictures from the different dub magazines?

  both "paradise" and the end of the world depictions would be quite useful.

  a couple of artists used to sink their initials into every illustration they did that way their JW relatives would know they were the ones who made the illustration. The WT doesn't let people take credit for writing articles or the wonderful illustrations, that usually drives people crazy not getting recognized for the work they do so they find a way to sign it without "signing it".

  Yes, thank you. I would agree that this may very well be the case. The recurring "E" is what I have been most curious about, however. It has been seen in varioius pieces that do not seem to be from the same artist, based only on the difference of style and technique used. Not an authority here.

  The following is a paraphrased exerpt from Dan Brown's book, Angels & Demons:

  For centuries, the churches have diminished as science picked away at religion bit by bit. Debunking miracles. Training the mind to overcome the heart. Condemning religion as the opiate of the masses. They denounce God as a hallucination- a delusional crutch for those too weak to accept that life is meaningless. Science presumes to harness the power of God himself! Proof you say? Yes, proof of science's ignorance! What is wrong with the admission that something exists beyond our understanding? The day that science substantiates God in a lab is the day people stop needing faith . . . In reality, the day they stop needing the church. Doubt is the last shred of control. It is doubt that brings souls to religion. It is the need to know that life has meaning. Man's insecurity and need for an enlightened soul assuring him everything is part of a master plan. But the church is not the only enlightened soul on the planet! We all seek God in different ways. What are the religious leaders afraid of? That God will show himself somewhere other than inside the walls of their churches? That people will find them in their own lives and leave the antiquated rituals behind? Religions evolve! The mind finds answers, the heart grapples with new truths. God is not some omnipotent authority looking down from above, threatening to throw us into everlasting destruction if we disobey. God is the energy that flows through the synapses of our nervous system and the chambers of our hearts! God is in all things!

  Is science, by definition, soulless? Divorced from the heart? Intellectual miracles like cloning or anitmatter arrive in this world with no ethical instructions attached. This in itself is perilous! But when science heralds its Godless persuits as the enlightened path? Promising answers to questions whose beauty is that they have no answers?

  what is the latest incarnation of the king of the north in dubland as i had an elder tell me on sunday that the muslim nations were the king now.

  i had not heard that before and it seems to me that they are just pulling anybody out of their arse as the king as they become more influential, how many times are they going to get it wrong before people wake up to it?

  Has anyone checked to see if there is any PAGAN significance as in HOLY GRAIL?

  Well, as I understand it, the actual cup that Jesus passed around the table on the passover has been sought after for centuries.

  After making a keyword search of the WT 2001 Library; holy grail, chalice, cup of christ, but I could not find any discussion on the Holy Grail and its significance. They seem to avoid the topic altogether. The wtbts does not seem to have any viewpoint on the cup of Christ. Interesting.

  I really found Dan Brown's story, The Davinci Code, very intriguing. What he asserts to be the actual "cup of Christ" blew my mind. It was a fictional story interlaced with much historical fact. A very fascinating read.

  "There is No God Like Jehovah" on TBN

  tbn is having its telethon, and a group of them are singing this rather holistic-new-agey-sounding song, repeating the chorus over and over, "there is no god like jehovah!

  " wouldn't the jws just love it!

  "trinity broadcasting network" singing to jehovah!

  This is my own site. It has a few of the many WTBTS publication illustrations. A source of controversy, I have always asserted that the WTBTS has sanctioned hidden and subliminal images to be introduced into the artwork. Judge for yourself . . .
