  My Father passed away & i'm suicidal. I want to talk to somebody

  in summary, my dad passed away not to long ago, 8 months ago, on april while i was 12. i'm 13 and i've been grieving for 6 months now and im suicidal.

  i'm not doing this to get attention, but to talk to someone.

  my dad was a jehovah's witness and i want to talk to all of you.

  I felt the same way you did. Please get help. I called the hot line and they told me to walk in the nearest ER dept. at the hospital. I was treated with respect and they realy help . Just open up to them. this is the advice you will get from your friends on this forum

  can you still record the talks at assemblies?

  years ago my parents would record these talks and play them back all the time.

  when they both died, we cleaned out the house and found 50 plus cassette tapes of recorded talks and they were labeled the year and the speaker at the time.

  that was in the year 2000. we just gave them to there jw friends because i did not want to keep them for recording of music.

  Wow, things have changed. When I was "in" it was cassette recording they have out put jacks on tables on the back wall. now its on the internet.

  It puzzles me that the recordings are for personal use and not for major distribution. But yet the talks are on the internet for major distribution.

  there rules were confusing to me. when I finely understood what was going on then they change them again.

  and the problem of lacking self-control is worsening.

  I walk away about 1995. Been in a KH 3 times once invited to repair an electronic panel in the mechanical room (they did not know I was worldy yet)

  I said I no longer had the software to look at. When I was there the "pioneer sisters" were very nosy on who I was. they were in the back room getting ready to go in "service" I was rude to them like F** off.

  Next time I was on a long car trip and stop to see some old JW friends.

  I had no Idea it was the memorial. To be nice they got me a white shirt and tie to wear. Got to shake hands with the group. I also introduced to the circuit overseer. I shock hands with him and under my breath I said F U A hole. So After the song and 5 mins in, I said I had to go to the rest room. Then I went out to my jeep and listened to music.

  The last time.was 10 years ago I was on a 3200 mile trip and looked up an old JW friend . He had to attend his sunday meeting. So I just walked out side a stayed in his car. But I did go in just to use the bath room . After I was standing out side waiting for him and the JWs wanted to know who I was. I told them I was XXX buddy from 50 years. Boy they looked puzzled, wondering why I never came in. So that is my story.

  What would happen to a JW who respectfully refused to fill out a no blood DPA?

  i know you'll be involuntarily disassociated if you unrepentantly accepted a blood transfusion; and i know you'll be disfellowshipped for apostasy if you openly disagreed with watchtower teaching.

  what if you have done none of the above but simply respectfully refused to fill out the dpa without giving any reason for your refusal - so they can't accuse you of openly disagreeing with the no-blood doctrine and df you for apostasy.

  they don't know why you're refusing and you're not giving them the reason - and you're being very respectful.. what can they do?.

  Id just fill the card out , to say you did. Then burn it! then make sure that it is not on your hospital records, that how you can die
