  ...i believe in the matrix. we are all jacked into a machine-fed la la land. there is "the one" which is offset by the architect to equalize the equation by making the evil one named Agent Smith......and the only way to fix it is by deleting one of the two....

  numbering of the presidents.

  you may have noticed that the numbering of the presidents on this site differs slightly from other sources.

  the reason is because of the two non-consecutive terms that grover cleveland served in the late 19th century.

  FirstInLine: The VP is on the presidential ballot. the VP isn't elected, but selected by the President. you vote for Clinton/Gore or Bush/Cheney, not Clinton/Cheney....

  unfortunately, in my experience not.

  even most of the elders i have met have a poor knowledge of what the society teaches.

  some basic questions will still get "mature" ones scratching their heads.. .

  i hate to say it. but i know more about JW doctrine than my g/f, her family or any of my congregation. its really quite sad. my g/f doesn't even really know what 1914 means and what 1919 means and such. nobody realizes the impact that JF Rutherford had, or FW Franz had on the society, the very negative impact...... drives me nuts.

  it's so hard to choose, but i would have to say the theocratic ministry school was my most hated meeting.

  the first few talks were a rephrasing of mind-numbing society doctrine.

  then it was time to listen to a ten-year old read nwt to us........... #3 talks, don't even get me started!

  Can a false religion perform a legal marriage?

  if every other religion is false, why does the watchtower recognize marriages performed in other churches?

  example: if you get baptized in another faith, the watchtower will say that it isn't the real baptism that leads to salvation.

  so why does the watchtower recognize a marriage performed by a false relgion, and not the baptism performed by the same church?

  Farting at the Kingdom Hall.

  once, when i was nine, i farted so loud, from the back row, that the guy giving the prayer started laughing and had to try really hard not to totally lose it.. any other stories?

  when i was a kid i thought it was always funny to fart in the kingdom hall. me and my friend were always bored because we didn't want to be there. so we'd go walk or something and let one rip and walk away and stuff. really great stuff. passing gas is awesome!
