I would have to agree with you that I felt as though we were doing a separating work when going door to door and that is what they wanted us to think.

I believe teh WTS teaches that the wheat and weeds are WITH IN the congregation and not talking aboaut the world of religion. Unless they changed that again.

the doctrine that in 1914 the end of the gentile times took place, jesus took up rule in heaven.

for some reason the jws think the outbreak of world war i in 1914 is proof their prophetic calculations were correct.

if our local space-time universe is uncreated, then of course it is meaningless to ask who created it.

of course, everything that had a beginning had a beginner.

years ago there was this guy ****** ******* i'll never forget him.

disfellowshipped 3 times!!!!

at the last dfing announcement the brother got up there and yelled into the mic .

I know one who is at 4 I believe, some for smoking and some for immorality and another fellow who has had trouble with smoking who is at at least 5 or 6 times over a period of appx 20 years. Im am surprised he can remember if he is in or out. But he is a super nice guy.

the oldest manuscripts are not considered the most reliable.. there are no "autograph" texts.

none.. there are no "original" manuscripts.. no two manuscripts agree.. the bible as we know it only came together in the form it now holds because certain men decided it should do so.. neither jesus nor his apostles or disciples carried bibles.. the apostle paul didn't carry a bible and none of his letters were in any of the scrolls considered holy scripture at the time he was preaching and forming christian theology as it is now understood to be.. largely, what the bible is today, is the result of certain men with certain agendas who had the authority to make their project happen.

they also had the power to destroy writings which did not agree with their agenda.
