  i've heard on a couple of occasions that it was a frequent practice in bible times for people to use hemp oil.

  has anyone else heard this take on the bible before?

  is there a way to prove whether its true or not?

  I am kinda indifferent to religon as a whole i think I am a good person I believe that there is a god but I don't feel that my every move in life should be scrutinized by a religon. I am a person of free will and that God wants me to make myself happy as long as it is not at another persons expense.

  I will marry my fiancee, have beautiful childern, show them all that life has to offer and let them know not to cheat themselves out of a second of it. I will not sewat the little things in life and try to have fun, making love with my little lady, and party when i can.

  reading simon's post about how things used to be i started thinking about how the internet has changed things.

  many believe the internet and the freedom of information it contains will be the undoing of the wts.. when i was a jw, there were a few dfings but maybe one a year or even less.

  people drifted away but we really didn't pay a lot of attention unless it was a close friend.. in here we see new people coming in all the time.

• What year did you leave? offically 2003 mentaly 1994
• How old were you when you left? I was 26 when i offically left
• Did the internet have anything to do with your decision to leave? no it just helped me to realize that the WTS was wrong and it was not the truth but that was about in oct 2003
• If you left before you got on the internet what reading did you do about the WTS or cults that helped you make your decision? None i just was spinning on my own
• What was the one most important reason that helped you decide to leave (even if the decision was made for you through a DFing). My fiancee helped deprogram me
• If you left and still thought it was "the truth" what helped you change your mind? My fiancee
