  Vertigo / How did you handle it?

  i was under the assumption that i was having a stroke, or a heart-attack.

  i called out, like a five year old, for my mother.

  when i finally mustered the courage enough, to go to the hospital, i found i was suffering with an ear infection that took away all of my balance as i was like a bottle of oil that was constantly being spilled on the floor.

  Tara and Ninja, thank you, as well. I didn't know it was so common. I've heard folks at my job say, it's something we all have, like a virus that's, like, waiting in the wings as it were. But if it ever gets loosed, then we're dealing with a whole 'nother animal. I'm taking it with a good attitude, I make little jokes about it with my wife and family. It really did scare the crap out of me at first, though. I've just resigned myself to taking an un-scheduled two week vacation from my new job. Gonna' get some much needed rest and just shoot the moon, next week. Thanks y'all.

  Thanks NMG. I never experienced anything like this before, but it helped me to appreciate how wonderfully designed we are. I never knew how something so simple, could leave a person so helpless. It was a necessary, humbling experience.

The room's not spinning so much, anymore, but I still have to grab the walls and walk really, really slow. Plus the anti-Biotics.

  No plan for two years.....but oompa is taking his life back!!!

  one day at a time....and have found what may be an incredible ally in this quest.

  someone who has kicked depression and booze and has even helped sober her dad up and he is a pitiful story.....jw....multi-millionair elder/pioneer who lost it all....due to bi-polor and booze....was in prison for two years on booze crimes, but has now been sober for almost three years.....his daughter is an incredible woman massage therapist, and also teaches holistic healing.....don't know a lot about that, execept i have been helped a lot by accurpuncture and they take this holistic approach...bit btw here.....angie has helped totally awaken her dad and brother!!!!

  i am so excited to have found someone who wants to help me, thinks they can, and have sooooo much in common with and i will let you know if she can walk on water.............i am taking back my life!!!

  I NEED TO VENT

  for the past weeks, i have gotten in touch with a lot of old high school classmates.

  a lot of them i've found over the internet.

  after reading their profiles and talking to them, to my surprise, a lot of them are professionals with degrees like doctors, engineers, business, etc.

  You've a right to your frustrations, Cind-67. I've been waiting for Jehovah to pull the plug on this whole universe since the early 70's. I've waited and watched people give thier entire lives to this organisation. College was viewed as preposterous. Every other religion was viewed as a sham and a farce, and what's worse, of the devil. I've watched organised religion go into the toilet, and just as the Jehovah's Witnesses had promised; that they were well on thier way out, suddenly a huge expansion of Christianity makes it's appearance on the Western Face of Civilisation, as I sit from my Armchair General's post. "It'll never last. Jehovah's People have had this one in the bag for ages" "There's just no way in Hell they get this one wrong" and lo and be M&F'n hold, they got it wrong, AGAIN!!!

  We've been cultured and catered by a bunch of old codgly men in really bad suits in OZ who have been sowing the seeds of destruction as we, the R&F have been given our marching orders to follow this Organisation into the gates of Hell, if that's what's required. Without doubt, without reason, without question. You are one of the millions of expendables and most of you probably never had a snowballs chance in Hell, anyway. I have a desire to do the will of GOD, even now. But I know, never to place my faith in the voice of any man, or any organisation that man, or woman, for that matter, may claim to represent. God said I never really needed the lot of them, anyway. My closed casket prayers will suffice just fine, as will the forgiveness that comes from His Grace and mercy.

  I don't speak these words against Jehovah, but as for those who claim to be his representatives. I will from this day forward, watch with extreme caution and careful consideration, the thing that they espouse from thier mouth. Whether that be truth, or the same old 3 Card Monty, that continues to be played on the world, down to this day!

  Yeah,......... I'm a bit pissed off, now that you mention it!

  a man is stumbling through the woods, totally drunk, when he comes upon a preacher baptizing people in the river.

  he proceeds to walk into the water and subsequently bumps into the preacher.

  the preacher turns around and is almost overcome by the smell of alcohol, whereupon he asks the drunk, "are you ready to find jesus?

  i used to regularly get calls from my mom (she rarely confronted me face to face for some reason) about my leaving "da troof" and most often, her lectures were met with my silence - i didnt have the confidence to answer her back as to why i left and refused to return.

  now - almost 7 months are regularly reading and posting on jwd, i am angry and just itching for an opportunity for me to tell her what i have learned and discovered.

  the relief at discovering that i wasn't alone is indescribable!

  "... Nothing ... I just have to wonder what's up - she is not the type to stop nagging...?

  She's found silent comfort in knowing you are out, and somehow wants out as well. She probably hasn't believed in years, now she no longer has to fake it to her children, that she still does. You know how parents vicariously live through thier children? Maybe that's how she's held on to the truth, all this time, but thru the faith of her children.

  Brothers,and not few sisters, doing the Penny-Annie, Ministry. They would bend over during the house to house ministry, picking up pennies. Some were well trained with thier eye to quickly pick them out. I was, of course, amazed, at thier keen eyesight and forsight.
