This is about out beloved Dansk
by mouthy inhow sorry i was to hear from dansk-he is going through a very difficult time.. i would like all prayers, thoughts, please keep this in mind ____ for me!!!!.
the sad news he has cancer.it is lymphoma!!!
they are waiting on the results of the biopsy before determining treatment..... he didnt want me to say anything at first- as he feels you all have your own problems & he didnt want to upset anyone-because he says "they are dear friends".

Forgiveness, How Far Do You Take It?

mind you, i know things like child molestation, rape and murder are things for which it is difficult, if not impossible, to be forgiving of.
that being said, where does one draw the line on forgiveness?

Thank you all for your responses, every one of you. In light of forgiveness, especially when it comes to those of your family, I'd like to present a scripture which part and parcel, pretty much reflects where it is that my heart has sat for going on about 4 years now. To err, is said, Is is to be human,
yet to forgive, divine!
So here goes, in light Proverbs 18:19, can God reasonably expect us to be forgiving in all situations? I mean, I'll be the first to admit that I'd be viewed as a bigger person for letting this go, this was, however, no minor issue. If it wasn't such a huge assault on my charachter as a person, I would be willing to let it go, even if the offender never presented me with an honest and authentic apology.
I, too, realize that we are no longer under the old covenant and these things no longer have the strength of the New Covenant contract, what, however about the principles and the scriptural implications involved.
Proverbs 18:19 (Amplified Bible)
19 A brother offended is harder to be won over than a strong city, and [their] contentions separate them like the bars of a castle.

Scripturally speaking, we are to be forgiving of our brother indefinitely, as Christ would have us to believe, however, is that realistic, or more so idealistic? Are we to be constantly turning the other cheek until we find our head removed from our shoulders, oneday? How far do you go to forgive those who've wronged you? Where do you draw the line and once that line has been crossed, what do you do with un-resolve issues regarding forgiveness, if any?

Intensely annoying, your riding around with a tire in desperate need of some air, your in 'da hood, right? and all the gas stations who have air compressors, they want you to spend .50 cents for some air, G'd capitalist society, but when you need air, none of their air stations are operable, they're either broken, don't even have one, out of order, jammed so you can't get the money in, or some God forsaken stupid reason, it took me to 20 minutes to find one, out of the five stations visited.
