Is Global Warming just a load of BS...
by Zep ini get the impression that a lot of the industrial countries really dont give a sh*t. recently there seems to be a lot of people saying man has nothing to do with it.
or, that its really not that bad.
govenrnments dont seem to care too greatly either, i'm thinking of australia and the usa at the moment.

singing at the meetings
by Dustin inwere any of you the really obnoxiosly loud singer at the meeting?
that always used to make me laugh when somone who couldn't sing just belted it out in their horrible voice.
or i used to love the husband and wife duos that thought they were all that as they sat and tried to harmonize.

An elder and partner in crime in the ministry, he was such a dear treasure, we used to compete against each other in the singing of kingdom songs in the hall, we both took the ministry excessively seriously. Always in the front of the hall, and proud to sing to the top of our lungs.
I truly believe we were almost fanatical in our devotion, and a means of proving to everyone else how spiritual we were, as opposed to those who showed no consideration for the music and often viewed those moments between the meetings as excuse for intermission, socializing and breaks for going to the toilet.
I find it amazing when researching my history being JW, and how blindly I was in my devotion to everything JW.

Irish wake?
by PinTail ini am irish and i want an irish wake, dose anyone else desire to go that direction when they hit the big sleep.
at the very lest have my ashes paraded around by my beer drinking karaoke singing friends each with a half pitcher mug of amber bock and hot polish sausages.
i would much rather have this than have a situatioin where if those who loved me or thought i was one hell of a guy feel weird for not being them selfs.

Not Irish, at least not in me' blood, though my last name speaks of such. I was just considering the other day, however, a song that I want played at my funeral at the close of the ceremony.
I heard it on the radio while getting ready to change the station in the car, and then, I stopped, It was George Micheal with Elton John singing " Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me ". While listening to it, it had a somber, yet slightly majestic aura to it. I don't like to focus on the inevitable but that's the direction taken when being JW. Old habits die hard.
