this is a nonsensical claim, given that about 2000 years of martyrdom by christians has already passed.
there's nothing left to prove or disprove.. however, you have the opportunity to prove that the watchtower society is lying: that their organization is unclean and overrun with corruption - as proven by an endless stream of elders/ms's and publishers who come here, wishing that they could leave.. you also have the opportunity to prove that their published statistics are false - by reporting fake hours and placements.. if they don't like it, too bad.

What do you think about the "United Church of God"?

i've read a little about them and they do not believe in trinity, and have similar believes as jehovah's witnesses.. they also try to keep all ten commandments, in addition to that.. i did not research all their doctrines, but a lot of them look familiar to me.. what do you think?.

Hi PSacramento. Are you making a point about the Sabbath, or Christ resurrecting himself? My issue was with the 72 hour window of time that Christ described that his body would be dead, could never fit the proposed scenario of him dying on Friday evening and alive on Sunday morning. Jews counted time from sunset to sunet. As its believed of traditional Christianity, Friday night to Saturday night would leave only one day and two nights. Friday night, Saturday, the only full 24 day, and Sunday morning.

What a drag it is getting old
by prophecor in!.........the days of youth are wasted on the youth, i've heard it said.
the days of our lives, as the scriptures so eloquently put it are 70 years.
i look at the youth of today in their teens to maybe thirty or so, and i have to say to myself, "boy, i wouldn't wish my 20's and 30's on anybody.

NWT is a bit hard to digest, yes. I actually found acceptance for the traditional King James, NKJV as well as others. It's good you wish to continue to pursue your relationship with God. He can still be found. Even apart from the KH.

Para-Transit. Driving those who were more comfortable in a 16 passenger mini bus, than they were riding regular public transportation. They were the disabled, and senior citzen community that we served. Sometimes you could really get a pulse for the way folks felt, that go un-noticed. Invisible to much of the community. It wasn't about the money at all. I felt I was doing a service that was truly needed in the community, and I took the job very seriously.
Some nights I would get a little choked up from hearing the life stories of some of the folks. One woman, riding to take her son back to the nursing home really had an effect on me. He was hit by a stray bullet in the prime of his twenties, having to be carted in a carroll chair, unable to effectively comunicate more than gutteral grunts and groans. He was shot on this woman's wedding anniversary. Drove the nail straight home for me. Helped me to realise just how fortunate I've been in this life. It felt like being in ministry, but from an entirely different perspective.

Who drove the Christendom Car in Field Service?

Today is my brithday and I feel depressed.
by TotallyADD inwoke up next to my wonderful wife after getting up she make me a great breakfast and for dinner tonight grilled steak and a brithday cake she made.
so why am i depressed?
could it be my children will not call me today to wish me a happy brithday.
