  After leaving the JW's, why would anybody seek another religion

  after such a traumatic experience in the jehovah's witness religion and reasoning on all other versions of religion, why do so many just jump ship into another religion offering the world but still delivering nothing!.

  Having been JW was a spring board for me. It has helped in many ways because I now have a reference point from where I can see more clearly. The Word of God is true, despite JW's bending and twisting of the scriptures to formulate their own theology. I am not hostile towards God, though I do have issues with the organisation. Jehovah is not the problem, but those who claim to speak in behalf of his name, are.

  We are encouraged to keep ourselves among a body of believers. It can't be done in a vacuum. It is not part of God's design that we walk alone in our quest to do his will. Being JW has actually assisted me in wiping away a huge portion of other religions that I will not associate myself with. What the word of God says is true, despite the fact that those who speak for Him communicate the voice of God in error. The messenger may be flawed, the Word of God, however, is still the truth, and for me must still be adhered to. It remains my responsibility to seek for God, regardless. The more I concern myself with His Word and His will for my life, the better chance I have of discerning truth, for falsehood.

  To count the sacrifice of Christ's shed blood as of no value seems a pretty harsh judgement to bring upon one's own self.

  Do You Think You Would Be Terribly Missed If You Died?

  lately, i have noticed that many suddenly have died or as it is usually expressed, died "unexpectedly" in the local obituaries.. i have come to know of many young people suddenly deciding to kill themselves for whatever reasons.

  most that i have known about had either financial or personal issues and sadly, they just gave up.. i wonder if we were suddenly gone, would people take notice?.....

  I'm into nature and it's unbelievable beauty, especially lightening. I have family friends who hide when there's electrical storms,but I adore it. I pity people who can't see the beauty in creation. They can't see what their missing out on. Let them sulk and be miserable.

  When I was a child, lightening was one of my greatest fears, that and dying. Now lightening and thunder are a wonder and beauty to me that words cannot describe. I wonder if people ever really pay attention to the woder of God's creation. God speaks silently.

  We must find contentment in the fact that GOD is silent on some things. It causes me wonder, however, everytime I see a snowstorm, hear a thunder clap, watch the Atlantic Ocean at night, the wonder of the construction of a spider's web.

  God's capacity for Him being the absolute artist. Ever truly sit back and watch a sunset? The constant changing of seasons, gulls that soar over head, the mighty force of a volcano, autumn leaves of October. Lightning. All phases of the Moon.

  Tornados, hurricanes. God's Feasts and Fury. The Aurora Borealis Monarch

  Butterflie s and thier ability to travel for thousands of miles on thier journey from Canada to Mexico.

  I won't bore you anymore with these few Gems and Jewels of Yahweh and his magnificence, but our modern technological (no how) is keeping us in near absolute ignorance. We find all the answers only to come to the place where we're not asking the right questions.

  Like: How could this not have happened, except by at least, intellegent design?

  With all the laws of science and the role of nature, could this have happened without a GOD to have brought all this about?

  God will not even regard those of us in our ivory towers of understanding, anyway.

  At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Matthew 11:25

  Its only going to be more difficult for us to see God from our molecular human perspective. There's so much more to this life of limitation. The clock and the calendar will prove God true, and as for the rest of us,...well...you know the rest of the story.
