Teens are getting only an ounce of understanding of what it's like having adult feelings. They're only illusions. As far as our brainwaves recognise, chemically similar to eating chocolate.That which is to come is remarkably different when one truly crosses over into adulthood. It will happen at different times for every individual. There is no age factor to be placed on maturity. Just coming in to puberty, however is a most dangerous place to allow teens to experiment with something as sacred as the sexual union between a man and a woman. We are not here at the amusement of ourselves. Sex has its place in the marriage arrangement, only. To hand over anything less to a 14 year old is tantamount to leaving a loaded weapon, in full view of a toddler and walking away from it. Most of us want to get away from the hostile WBTS's law giving and rules and regulations, but as far as this is concerned, there is rarely anything of value to be gotten from this, long term.

Not a history major Iconoclast but I agree 100 percent. Sex is one of those things we get handed to us as human beings. It's a package deal and it's been the same, for forever. We all reached a certain age and all of a sudden, the lights go out. They've been going out from the begining of time. My only wish is that someone would have shared how 1 unbridled moment of passion with the one you were only going to spend 6 months of your life with, would show me the future forty years into the story so I could U-Turn from the hassles. Baby Momma Drama, supeonas for child support, arguements to no end because the thrill is gone. I too well understand only now the words of Lemuel's Mother to The King in Proverbs 31.

Once the train leaves the station, it's almost impossible to control w/o derailing. At the age he is, nothing and no line of reasoning will stop a hormone fueled teenager from not wanting to test the waters. I've suffered thru 3 teens and they weren't even mine, biologically. The 2 girls were even more of a nightmare than the last boy was. I know, also from my own days as a youth, the issue regarding sex just threw me into problems without end. Today's society, overwhelmed with sexual images, music, movies, videos, on and on leave not a lot of wiggle room for teens to navigate these choppy waters without a steady, brutally firm male hand to walk them thru life's dillemas and debacles.
I hate to sound glum but as the world sinks deeper and deeper into the sexualised energy that so encompasses everything, it's like being sucked into a vortex. I'm unaware of your entire history, but I will look over your life here and hope I can have something better to give you. In the meantime please know that I truly recognise your pain. I'm still recovering from that same energy. From outside as well as from within.

I would like to think that he didn't want to steal the spotlight from Obama. 911 occured on Bush's watch. Maybe pride. I'm not so sure on this one. Boy George prefers to stay out of the spotlight and I respect that. He has so much reflecting to do without having to re-visit all that has transpired between his shift and that of the current sittng president. I'm sure he has a lot of ghosts that he has to deal with as well as his own personal demons. Love the man, regardless. One of a great many to serve our nation.

For those without Mothers
by Lady Lee inmothers day can bring up many issues for some of us.
for some their mothers have passed away and the opportunity to say i love you in person is forever lost.
for others our mothers are lost to the borg.

Blessings and Happy Mother's Day Lady Lee. I'd just like to express my concern for those who have no family contact with your mothers due to issues from being Jehovah's Witnesses. I'm a lone wolf out here and I cannot identify with never having a chance to fellowship with my Mom due to being DF, DA and the like. I couldn't stomach not being allowed to talk to my mother, even though she can work my last nerve. I'll be a little more grateful that mine's at 81 years is still on the planet, and I can and do call her, sometimes, 3,4,or 5 times a day, just to keep in touch. Like walking in her room and just surface chat for a couple of minutes, and then metephorically go back to my room. If I outlive her she will be desperately missed as I am still a Momma's Boy. Though married for nearly 20 years now. God Bless and Keep all you Mothers. You keep what's alive on the planet.
