  my psychiatrist told me therapy was not going to cure my headaches (yah).

  my home-doctor (i don't know if thats the system you have too, but here we have one general doctor who gives his patient referrals to see specialists), does not believe any referral to any medical specialist will help me.

  that's cuz i have tried so much already, and any referral will give me hope that there might be a cure - which in his opninion is not possible.

  When, if ever, did you start caring about POLITICS?

  i've said a few times on here that i'm 99% mentally free of jwism, or something similar.

  but i think i may need to back that number down just a bit.. i now believe that this world is all we've got and that,collectively, it matters what we as a species do on this orb if we want to continue to spread our dna indefinitely.

  (some would argue that human extinction would be a good thing, but i'm not in that camp.

  Public service, with the proper motivation, there is no more a nobler profession to be involved in. Unfortunately, we are humans, and our best designs and intentions can often get in the way of greater good that's needed to be done. Power, money, fame and influence are best left to those without humongous egos. Which leaves out, most of humanity. Military service, law enforcement and civic duty is, however, of the highest of human calling.

  for the past weeks, i have gotten in touch with a lot of old high school classmates.

  a lot of them i've found over the internet.

  after reading their profiles and talking to them, to my surprise, a lot of them are professionals with degrees like doctors, engineers, business, etc.

  how long do you stay in love?

  for those of you who are married, are you together "just for the kids"?

  You stay in love as long as your good senses and better judgement allow it. Then you move to find what it will take to remain in love. It's an ongoing process that takes time to navigate. You grow apart, sometimes, you might be lucky enough to rebound back to center where the two of you left off from each other. It's never as good as the first time, but it's better the second time around.

  You may acquire a deep seated appreciation for the one you felt you'd rather live the rest of your life alone, than live in the Hell and the hurt, both of you were unwilling to let go of. Forgiveness keeps love alive. Growth keeps love focused. It's a never ending numbers crunch, but more than anything else, you've got to be willing to lose....to be ready to be willing to bet the entire estate.....and you've got to give them the key to everything that's yours. Everything you own...otherwise...What's the Point?
