straight away told im not ready for baptism, not with the amount and depth of questions, that ive been warned about these sites and that apostates will do anything to knock jws.

proving its the true religion bec the bible says it will happen (shows me scriptures).

also told it doesnt happen with any other religious group - usually people just quietly leave and make no fuss - further proof that ths is the true religion.. i asked about all the dates where predictions were made, eg 1914, 1975. was told there were some articles loosly talking the 'possibility' of something happening, but the wt never said it definitely would - how could it, these are just ordinary men, not profits.

Do you not know that you may've been percieved by them as a threat to the existence of many in the congo? Armed with the kind of knowledge and ammunition at your disposal, the internet, the experiences here of others as a resource for information, you could walk into a congo of Dubs with questions on your heart and mind and cause a firestorm of folx to seriously consider their own situations. They do not want those for whom they cannot control.

My dad and his corn...why?

i just awoke from a bad dream of my dad giving a sunday talk.... it got me to thinking about all the bad jokes he liked to put in his talk...and i wonder why he did that?

for validation?

to see if people were paying attention?

I used to hate going to all the different congregations...my dad freaking out before each public talk...worried about getting lost so we would get there at 6 am.

And sounds as if he was just a wittle bit anal, perfectionistic tendencies. Quite honestly, we ( speaking from the person who's a perfectionist ) are the most complex and difficult people to live with, around, next door to, we drive everybody else crazy. I've been driving my folks nuts for years!!!
