Something positive? Well, there was....no, that wouldn't qualify as positive; wearing a suit? Nah. There must be something;...oh yeah...ahh forget it; just one positive thing. C'mon, think, think. Sorry, nothing comes to mind.
Is this a trick question?

At last I discover I'm not the only one with great taste in music.

folks.
we did the positive spin about being a witness.
now let's see if we can come up with anything negative about being a jehovah's witness....now, put your thinking caps on!
Something negative, hmmm, well I'm not exactly sure where to start. The estrangement from my family? Possibly. Perhaps ceasing my university studies? Always a good negative. The idea that everyone except JW's are worthless? An oldie but a goody. Maybe the fact that I became a freak? That's a keeper.
This is a trick question, right?

....in the organization, that you had?
did you enjoy being a pioneer or elder?
did you feel that you "were just a publisher"?
I thought I would enjoy being an elder, but it was very hard work(yeah most of our elder body took our responsibility seriously and we did really care for the congregation) so I was actually relieved when I was deleted(sounds like a computer error,no?) It was then I realized I enjoyed being a regular old publisher and now I enjoy just being regular.

I did; over 26 years ago and we're still going strong.

Hi Az- It's really amazing how many people are affected by S.A.D. In my job I work primarily with people with disabilities as well as the elderly, and during this time of the year there is a really noticeable change in the dispositions of a huge number of my clients. Not only do the shorter, colder days cause a lot of depression, but it also contributes to more confinement for them. As for myself, living in a northern clime, I dread the thought of snow as I detest the stuff. Fortunately we don't get much on the West Coast, but even one flake can really cause me to get the blues. No, you're not alone.

our visitors were baptist folk, so there was no shiraz today, out of respect for their sensibilities!
we enjoyed our conversation about dateline/panorama/sunday and they are taking a tape of the sunday program to various church groups in the south of sydney.
# 's 1&2 Well, when I learned of the Bible's "promises" as told by the WBTS, back in ' 76,(my wife had known of it 7 years earlier), we both figured that we'd be in the New System within 5 years at the outside. Indeed as each Christmas passed, my darling would reassure us that this perhaps would be the last time we'd have to put up with Satan's world. We're still here and guess what, we had a fantastic Christmas in ' 02. Personally, I'm glad we decided to abandon that New System malarky for a real life.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!! Yes, I know I'm late, but "we were making rather merry",(a partial quote from the movie "Scrooge" starring Alistair Sims)
