  i have a lot of consolation magazines that i could scan.. if you want a particular issue for research, tell me and i will scan it, and you can tell to the board more what are your research, so everybody will have more insight.. .

  here is one of this magazine concerning the madison square garden incident.

  this incident is connected with the olyn moyle's trial and it is interessant to see the vision of rutherford concerning this.. he tried in this magazine to excuse the usher, because what he said on stage was "the word of jehovah", so nobody must stop the "spreading of the word of god".

  I see chasson/Charles is staying very busy with the copying of Consolation magazines. I have a collection of Golden Age/ Consolation/ Awake full sets from 1936 to date and for the Watchtower,along with the 7 volume 1919 Reprints, I have a full year sets from 1930 to date along with a full year set for 1919(the Reprints stop at the June 15th,1919 issue) . I have a few early Golden Ages from 1920 to 1935. I haven't the time to scan a full magazine like Charles(bless you : ) )I can scan a particular article if requested. Alpha I did find 2 Golden age magazines listed in that website you mentioned ,sorry no Apr.7,1926, but I do have the Nov.28,1928 and the Sept.23,1936 Golden Ages. Let me know . Investigator74

  Pyramid at Russell's Grave Modeled After the Great Pyramid?

  until now, i have differentiated pastor russell's pyramidology beliefs from the pyramid that was erected next to his tombstone in pittsburgh, pennsylvania.

  russell (following taylor, smyth, seiss and barbour) believed that the great pyramid of gizeh was "the bible in stone," testifying to scientific and theological truths.

  the pyramid marker at his grave i believed was not related to his beliefs on the great pyramid, but were an elaboration of the plan of salvation as russell understood it.

  Nathan what I don't understand is since the HQ was moved to Brooklyn in 1909 why was C.T.Russell buried in Pittsburgh? Maybe the plot had been already set aside when the operations was in Pittsburgh/Allegheny, also that was his birthplace. Anyway I agree with cabasilas, that it is stated in the pamphlet, Russell had ordered the erection of the monument, and that Rutherford learning of this had Bohnet proceed at once to get the monument erected. I downloaded all the pics when the the item was still up for auction.

  left 16yrs ago n still have issues and confidence probs,

  ileft "the truth" 16yrs ago and still cant move on in some areas of my life, i have no family now as they stopped talking to me and have never relented.this has left me with serious problems with needing aproval from people in my life.i have never stopped trying to win my fathers aproval and no i,l never have it unless i go back(which would never happen)jus wondered if any1 else has similar hangups, n if you do, how do i deal with it n move on.

  Again welcome to the board !!! I understand how you feel. I left the borg 30 years ago and for all that time try to have my father and mother's approval and a relationship with them. I even attempted to make meetings a few years ago to get back in to keep a close relationship with them. Boy was I a unhappy camper!! My wife has been a great support along with a few friends. I can still visit my parents , but they will not initiate any contact with my wife and I, unless to tell me of a death in the family or any other family matter. This puts me in the blues sometime , but I think of positive things I can be doing and I lift myself up and go. Prayer definitely goes a long way as well!! I was never much for prayers , but now , wow it helps in more ways that you can imagine!Anyway we're(the board) there for you bro.
