  hello, i am new here, and i am hoping to stay a while.

  The turkeys ready.....

  i just hope i am..... you see,i have been sick for days now, and so have been the kids with this damn chest cold...... they have been home from school and i have been laying on the couch for 3 days now....the house looks like a tornadoe went through it, and the butcher just called to confirm my 25lb turkey is ready to be picked up on tuesday for x-mas dinner... i am having 23 here to cook for, and i am not in the mood right now for it...so much work ahead of me right now.... anyways, where do you go for christmas dinner?

  do you cook it, or does someone else do it in your family?.

  i have aways done the christmas dinner at my house, but this year i am not feeling up to it at all...... do you think it would be rude for me to ask everyone in the family to bring something to the dinner?

  I dont think it is rude at all to ask for help. If you are not feeling up to date come time to the day you have to start the cooking, then just ask. No harm in it

  Your favorite holiday song?

  even when i was a jw, i enjoyed hearing holiday music.

  some of it is religious, some of it is just "holiday cheer" music.

  but it's fun to listen to, and sometimes those songs just stick in your head.. do you have any particular favorites this time of year?.

  For Migraine Sufferer's

  ok, for those who suffer migraine attacks, when do you get them, and what do you do for them?

  prior to an injury in the school yard, (a teenager at the time) i never had a headache.

  my injury had all the symptoms of a migraine.

  I get migranes all the time... I haven't had a serious one for a long time. but when I got them I got them bad and nothing could really help them to go away, but i took asprine or advil the other times i had them and it helped a little... nothing major
