Was the straw that broke the camels back, the workload?
by jambon1 ini realise that there are many reasons for people leaving the org and some are very sensitive and difficult to discuss.
but i was wondering how many people, if they really think about it, were finally broken by the sheer workload as a jw.
someone replied to my thread yesterday (page 2), and discussed the average week for most jw`s.

The workload was indeed heavy but I didn't mind it overly much to be honest. It was the lies and falsehoods I found after doing some research of my own.
Oh and getting told by some that I had to take my son out (who was a baby) as he was making too much noise. Eh no he wasn't now piss off!!

I know, I watched the Wedding Singer and although older he still had that snarl. Now though the hair is less thick and could look a bit bonkers on a 36 year old dad of 2.
I leave the wacky hair do's to my son now who is carrying the mantle and my folks can't do a thing about it, hee hee.

by dido inthe yorkshire ripper killed umpteen women and is a jw now.
if i was an active jw i wouldn`t like the thought of living with him forever, after the way he killed all those women.

Although I have heard that up here some people are leaving a hall for another one as a convicted child molester is attending their hall. He was a witness in another hall before going to prison and they don't want their kids near him and quite right too I say

I need advice re: monthly field service report
by under_believer ini stopped going out in service about a year ago.
just couldn't take it anymore.
after that, i still continued "studying" with my kids and "counting the time" for that.

I used to put reports in then they would say, how did you manage this as we haven't seen you at the groups? I just said I witnessed to the kids and did informal at work. Then came the crunch when I said I couldn't do it anymore so they came over listened to my reasons and left me alone. Just don't say that you don't think God is using the borg if you say that they will put you out for sure

by z intomorrow im going to see my jw friend we all the time argue about the cult and must of the time he have no answer, and i think he is not too happy with the cult (he is ms) he is 41yr old and married no children (was virgin 28yr wtf).
about two weeks ago he was called to the back room why?
because he had some misunderstanding with ex alder the claim he doesnt have love for him lololol.

It always amazed me that at assemblies bethel folk from around the world were flown in to give talks and stuff. I had a friend who was closer to this than me and he said these guys flew in 1st class or club class none of your cattle class for these guys and who paid for it?? Us!! In addition if funds are low a "special" talk is given urging bros to put their hands in their pocket's and give more, how many times have we had talks about the poor widow who gave what she could.
Quck builds is another money spinner what with all that free labour where we would pay the price for attending builds hundreds of miles away and sleep on floors or tents.
Yes it is a wealthy business that is a fact.
