17 Confess and stop secret sins. Some Christians who have committed a serious sin have tried to keep it secret. Perhaps they are embarrassed or do not want to disappoint others. (Proverbs 28:13) But hiding the sin is unloving because it harms both the sinner and others. How? Jehovah might stop blessing the congregation with his holy spirit, and the congregation would not have peace. (Ephesians 4:30) So if a Christian commits a serious sin, genuine love will motivate him to speak to the elders and get the help he needs.—James 5:14, 15.

Okay so how many congregations have had secret pedophiles in positions of authority who carried on their sick practices for years and years in secret, did Jehovah stop blessing the congregations with his Holy Spirit then ?
Hundreds of congs have had this type of thing going on along with other secret goings on and yet nothing happens, nothing is revealed it just shows what a load of bullcrap this is !!

(Genesis 3:4, 5) When David was king, he had a friend named Ahithophel. But Ahithophel betrayed David to benefit himself. His actions showed that he was not a true friend. (2 Samuel 15:31) Today, apostates and others who create divisions in the congregation use “smooth talk and flattering speech.” (Romans 16:17, 18) They may pretend to care about others, but in reality, they are selfish.

What a load of crap !!

Satan showed fake love for eve, where did they get that from ?

He was just asking eve a question, where does love come into this ?

Also the apostate comment is ridiculous !!

hi everyone.. this is just a thought, while reading bill bowen's silent lambs website i was interested to find out how long ago the figure of 23,000 molesters was published.. well it was in 2002.. in the spring of 2002, silentlambs was contacted by three different sources who claimed to have connected with people inside the headquarters of the watchtower bible & tract society of new york, located in patterson , new york .

these insiders provided silentlambs contacts with a computer data base number of 23,720 child molesters on file there.

so as the spring of 2002 was just over 15 years ago i wonder how many more have been added to the list ?.

23,720 in 2002 ......How many more 15 years later ? What is the total on the database now ?

I truly hope that this all comes out one day and very soon !!

Books are not dying out and this is not the reason for the WT turning to tablets

there's a popular misconception that books in general are in terminal decline, that this is the reason the wt organisation has turned to tablets instead of print, and this in turn has created a financial crisis for the organisation which traditionally relied upon publishing books for income.

this is wrong on a number of levels.

firstly physical books are not in terminal decline, they are as popular as ever with consumers.

Another advantage is that electronic books can be more readily updated and/or "recalled" online without leaving irrefutable hard copy evidence behind for future generations to point at their silly teachings as is currently the case with all the nonsense they've left in print from decades ago.
