My motive would be to comfort any current JWs that want to leave. When you are in and newly come to terms with TTATT, it can be lonely.
Why don't I just say I'm in the Northern Cal Bay Area. ( North Bay )
I'd be happy to PM, chat on the phone or meet up with ones trying to plan an escape.
i am a life long jw, but this issue i'm going through has taken the cake.. i am in a job situation that is not good.
and we were promised to us in our old hall that we would have a roof over our head for us an our animals.
so i gave notice on thursday then went to call by so-called jw friends and they backed out and claimed he now couldn't let us move in and broke the deal.
After 25 years, I quit attending. The friendship/brotherhood ended then, too.
When you are "in", you don't notice *anything*. When you are out, it's easy to see many things.

On the other hand, we're really starting to experience "peace and security" on the home front for the first time in a long while. I believe my wife secretly knows TTATT but sees the effort to escape as being too difficult. I will support her. She skipped the Sunday meeting...

I deleted all JW FB friends quite some time ago and do not use FB as a platform for anything JW related.
I really do want to make some JWFacts.com banners to strategically place around town, however.

i've been lurking for 3-4 years and i mean i've been a mega lurker, doing marathon reading sessions for months or weeks.. sometimes i proceed by researching specific topics, or posters; other times just reading current discussions.
i'm particularly fond of "old" post, i.e 10-12-15 years ago.. i have laughed, smiled, got mad, cried etc, just reading some threads here.. as you can see i suffer from some kind of "accute lurkitis".

I can only imagine how many are on the edge/scared to leave.

like a thousand years is a long time, and people are supposed to be gettin perfect n stuff during this time, and the earth is supposed to be gettin all perfectionized.... so satan can f- - - it all up again?.
It'll be nuts. New scrolls, GB ruling from heaven with helpers on earth to become the channel for true worship. What a loving provision from Jehovah that the wily old serpent and his crowd will be abyssed so true obedience can be rendered day and night, amen.

After Armageddon there needs to be a new "future fear" in place to engage mind control.
Satan making a final attack in the last days of that system of things ( the 1000 years ) will be just what is needed.
