I have two take aways from the zoned out meeting

out of three hours only two things really caught my attention.

i was surprised there was no special annoucements or more new light.

the first thing is that we know that the org is having a difficult time having young males reach out to be a ministerial servents to carry microphones and adjust the height of the podium.

I wonder how many people siting there hearing this will get home and simply just stop going.

hi guys, ive finally got a copy of coc from my local library, im on page 120ish and im really enjoying it!

the thing that gets me now that im enlightened is how little the rank and file know about anything this organazation does!

everything is so secretive and covered up behind a curtain.

wow, i just realized something, It seems like the big boys are jumping ship. sell off property invest someplace else?, getting out before they get sunk.

the only ones left will be the older in deep ones, the die hard believers, as the youger ones will stray, and the kingdom will be divided against itself.

Looking Back, Do You Ever Think You Loved Jehovah God?

as a child, i was made to believe that i loved my mom and family and close friends but that i loved no one more than jehovah god.

did you ever really love him?.

I dont think we can truly Love an idea, which actually God sort of is.

because we are a physical being we need a physical being to love. In my opinion, we need actual contact , its what bonds feelings. Like wise, I can say that I would have a hard time saying 'I love my sister', If I never met her, spoke to her, or seen her, just knew of her.

So, If she died, I might be sad, but not distraut or devestated, as I do not have an emotional attachment to someone Ive never met.

I can say I dont think I ever loved God the same way I love my children.

the idea may have been that I did those things to show That I loved God.

or was it the idea of being special?

ok so i know its not really anything to do with jwness but we are struggling with baby names and really can't think of one we both like.

its getting a bit desperate as i'm due in about 8 weeks .. i'm getting bored of looking at the same old names on the baby names websites so any suggestions would be much appreciated (girls please).. **cash prize for the one we choose!

i watched this documentary on line, it was removed off you tube for copyright infringment, now i have to delete the bookmark.

but it was called who is jesus, and the true story of the catholic church.[ top documentary films,]

it was interesting. not sure what to think.

the bible, has kept mankiond in a tizzy for a long long time, much is missing, its not for us to try to figure it out and judge others by what they see.

I try to explain this to my mom, and it never fails she uses that old scripture

you must all speak in agreement.....

she says jesus said that, i said paul did, i dont care actually, and thats not what he meant that we all must think alike exactly the same its impossible were not clones.

this is what she is believing at her meetings That EVERYONE who is a wittness must speak the same! OMG how freaking boring!

i havent had time to go into detail about that situation in teh bible where he said that, to explain it to her, she just tells me over and over that we ALL must agree to be in harmony with God. bla bla bla, and since I dont agree, my faith is wavering.

yea well i hope my big mouth sister doesnt tell my jw mom that Im making a turkey this year a request of my husbands,

and having her and the kids over.
