Israel will hit back, and hit back hard.
Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah want the destruction of the Israeli state.
Israel, for all its many faults, just wants to exist.
just a moment ago irán started to attack israel, guess they're gonna end in ruins because israel has a way better army than other country in the region and the support of the us....hope the gas prices don't increase too much.... wonder how the borg gonna spin it..

I don't know if he killed his wife or not.
But either way, he was a bad guy.
Not missing him.
uh oh, looks like the mega thread gave up the ghost, so while i investigate / fix it just continue the discussion here .... it's been a long 9 years lloyd evans / john cedars.
Grifters gotta grift
after their courtcase in norway going wrong, splane actually warns lawmakers that they will be in big trouble if they don't change their ways.
he's referring to the preaching work, which has nothing to do with the case.
it's all about their treatment of ex-jws.
No, I don't think so.
The JWs have always been militant.
Peaceful, but militant.
i’ve noticed a pattern where things don’t go the way i expect them to go and/or whenever i realise there is a trend and, i mentally adjust for the idea that the trend will continue, the trend stops in its tracks.
so on that basis, and given many people, including myself, and active jws, have been asking ‘what changes will the governing body make next?’ perhaps the (disappointing) answer is: ‘nothing much for a while to come’.
maybe they’ve made the changes they want for now, and will wait a while and see how it’s received.
Hmm, not sure about this.
If you look at its history, the Org is dynamic, pretty much chopping and changing all the time.
It's how they attract new members, and keep some of the old members happy ('we got new light!', etc.).
But I definitely see them buttoning down the hatches and holding tight for while.
regarding the poster from jw headquarters, who claimed that the gb would eventually loosen the rules regarding sex.
the question is, is there really a bible rule explicitly prohibiting sex without marriage?
because this would be the only possible reason why loosening those rules would even come up in a discussion.
I thought the Bible was pretty clear on this.
Doesn't the apostle Paul say that Christians should be a husband of one wife?
The implication is sex outside of marriage is wrong ...
so, i thought i'd start a thread about any beautiful photos of places you've been to, or just beautiful photos.. i'll go first .... .

Here is a photo of the Pitons in St Lucia.
I went there in 2001 with my dad. We knew a British family of St Lucian origin, and they knew a guy on the island who owned apartments.
i am thinking that the "ten year plan" that some have spoken of is the most likely scenario.
the org.
has to both attract new members and retain as many existing ones as possible.. so i think they will let the recent changes "bed in" for a while, maybe a year ?
They might get *new light on blood transfusions being a conscience matter.
* Probably legal advice to cover their backsides.
