@Punk - yeah, Dracula is really good. I like the first four chapters, where Jonathan Harker travels to and experiences Castle Dracula. It's a great introduction and setting of the scene.
Probably one of the few novels I'll entertain - I've always been a great reader but not necessarily of novels. The first novel I really liked was The Demon Headmaster by Gillian Cross. In year 5 our teacher read it to us and I liked it so much I borrowed it from the school library. I still think it's a great read.
I like horror, thrillers, or otherwise edgy novels.

So I bought Dracula the other day, bringing my grand total of novels to ten. (This must be the third time I've bought this book, lol.)
Here are a few more on my radar
Little Star by John Ajvide Lindqvist
The Martian by Andy Weir
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
The Demon Headmaster and the Prime Minister's Brain by Gillian Cross

Better off PIMA than POMA or POMO.
by ExBethelitenowPIMA inthe situation is many of us are pima and all putting on a front, sometimes saying something we don’t fully believe.
or at least are actually agnostic about but a hope that it’s true.. but it can be useful if someone is really going through a hard time or has something they are very worried about, to say things like well let’s hope there is not much longer of this old system.. this can be useful in an awkward situation where you just don’t know what to do or say.
it’s a little bit of hope that can help when there is nothing else.. my agnosticism just means i won’t look back over decades thinking i wasted my life.

When I was a true believer, the one thing I feared more than anything was being destroyed by Jehovah God at Armageddon. Thank goodness it's all a load of bullshit.
I've got my life to live, and when I die, I die. I can take that. Any kind of afterlife is a bonus. I kinda hope there is an afterlife. Not for me, but for my mum. She was paralyzed from the neck down due to a stroke at age 44, and died at 51. She didn't deserve that. If I die at 70 or 80 then fine, I will have had my life.
BTW, I don't believe in evolution, I accept it because I value intellectual honesty.

It's something new, something for True Believers (TM) to get 'excited' about.
I can't see it becoming popular, TBH.
Where I live, there are JWs in the town centre, idly standing by carts. The carts ask people if they want a free Bible course, and direct them to JW,org. When people go on the website, it tells them to ask JWs for a study.
I think this is the way things will go, the street witnessing crap.

There is footage circulating the internet of a captive Ukrainian soldier being beheaded by a Russian fighter.
It needs to be authenticated, but if true it's absolutely sickening.
Whoever did this is a fucking animal ...

Ridiculous the way Roy Devans blames his wife for being influenced by 'monogamous societal norms', as if that's a bad thing.
Yes, most people are monogamous. There's nothing wrong with this whatsoever.
What is important here is honesty. Roy Devans promised his wife he'd be faithful to her when he married her. He has broken that promise.
If people are looking for relationships and declare at the outset that they're looking for open relationships, then ok.
But Roy Devans didn't do that.
