i saw the rise of skywalker (2019) a few weeks ago.. and it is totally crazy, lol, it has everything but the kitchen sink.. i can somewhat feel for writer/director jj abrams because rian johnson went f**k up in the previous film.. e.g.

in the force awakens (2015), abrams introduced snoke, but then in the last jedi (2017) johnson killed him off, the same thing happened to luke.. but that doesn't really hide hollywood hack abrams from criticism of this movie.

bringing back emperor palpatine - i mean, really?.

Dawkins’ opinions about transsexuals (expressed on Twitter 🤦‍♂️), and Evans’ views thereof, are irrelevant tangents from Dawkins expertise as a biologist - utter nonsense.

Dawkins, is indeed, an expert on biology. And biology is intimately connected to gender.

The vast majority of women are cisgender, i.e. the vast majority of human biological females are women.

Dawkins knows whereof he speaks. Trans activists have a dubious relationship with scientific reality.

@truth_be_known - the original trilogy wasn't perfect, or perfectly planned (Lucas made up a few things on the fly, such as Vader being Luke's father and Leia being Luke's sister) but the original 3 films had a road map, one creative person overseeing everything.

The sequel trilogy has no road map. None at all. Kathleen Kennedy brought in different directors after firing a few, and told Rian Johnson to take the story where he wanted. Then Jar Jar Abrams was brought back and shat out this turd of a movie.

You're right, the sequel trilogy is a complete train wreck.

The dude was thrown to his death and then blown up with the second Death Star in Return of the Jedi (1983).

What did I like about this movie? Well, it looked nice, and Adam Driver is a very good actor. He stole a few scenes because of his acting ability.

But there is sooo much wrong with this movie. The return of Palpatine, Rey's strength in The Force is OP as f**k. True, Abrams put in a training scene but it felt so shoe-horned in. He'd obviously listened to fans complaining about Rey being a Mary Sue and thought 'yeah, they do have a point'.

And the McGuffins. Jesus Christ, it felt like a damn video game.

You gotta get a way-finder, then get a Sith dagger, then get this, then find this guy who knows how to wipe C-3PO's memory so that he can translate the Sith writing on the dagger. Then Rey takes the dagger, holds it up in front of her face, the dagger's outline matches up with the outline of the Death Star wreckage, and so that's where the way-finder is. Brilliant!

And who can forget the Resistance fighters attacking on the wing of a Star Destroyer … riding f**king space-horses!!! All the pilots of the Star Destroyer have to do is dip their wings, then the good guys will fall to their deaths. C'mon, this crap ain't difficult to work out.

I find it hard to take JJ Abrams seriously as a film maker - he's just a hack.

Here's a scene in which Palpatine shoots a huge amount of force lightening into the sky. Yayyy!!! Just look at the pretty explosions.

I'm amazed that the WTS is so against masturbation to begin with.

There is nothing - NOTHING - in The Bible that says masturbation is a sin. And this from a book that states a menstruating woman is unclean and so is everything she sits on.

The WTS avoids calling masturbation a sin, but repeatedly calls it 'an unclean habit'.

But that isn't in The Bible, either.

I see why any Christian group might be against sex outside of marriage, I get that (although don't agree), but what we have with the WTS is a cult-like group that says its members shouldn't masturbate.

Utterly ridiculous, especially for males. Sexually mature males continuously produce sperm. If a man isn't in a sexual relationship, then he gets a build-up of semen, aka 'blue balls'. Masturbation is pretty much as natural and common as blowing your nose.

If you could pick out critical errors to the JWS religion what would it be ?

many that have come to this forum have left the jws religion and moved on with their lives but from a outsider's viewpoint what do think makes the jws religion wrong or incorrect as a active christian faith ?.

somethings come to mind such as its long continuous end times/armageddon soon doctrine which has really been a core doctrine for decades going right back to its beginning .. maybe they should have adopted the stance as other christian based faiths and adhered to jesus's own words when he said " no one knows of the time not even he ".
