  Why do Christian nations think they can assimilate Muslims into their communities , does Islam attempt to assimilate Christians in their communities ?

  islam /muslims today are what christianity was centuries ago , the two beleif systems are like oil and water , not to be mixed .

  christians are not tolerated spreading their infectious disease amongst muslims, in islamic countrys , and harsh penalties apply for them doing so in muslim countries , including the death penalty.

  stonings , whippings etc.. on the other hand christian nations are very tolerant of muslim extremists who incite hatred and violence on their own territory , and they get a slap on the wrist and say dont do it again .

  Just some observations...

  I worked with a psychopath, the descriptions are spot on, BUT

  beware of natural news, the irony of them warning of nut cases is classic.

  Do you really think most people, organizations and governments are lieing to you all the time?

  and that there is far more bad in the world than good?

  Im a very sceptical person, and even I don't believe that....

  let me get it right,

  I apparently am a man...

  and a muslim

  and don't know how to spell the koran/Quran.

  and ALL Muslim women must wear a uniform and are totally subjugated to men.

  in EVERY respect you're wrong,

  I work on a weekly basis with Musilim women who are NOT subjugated, they do NOT wear the veil, there is NO requirement for them to do so! except that of dressing modestly. Personally I think thats fine, so long as the men are also expected to do so.

  NONE of the MANY Muslim woman I work with intimately fit that picture. some are devout emough to have gone on the Hajj, I was honoured enough to be invited to the ceremony to welcome them back and received the zam zam water, and dates from Mecca, and something else, but my memory fails me.

  So next week, when I see my friends again, shall I tell them how oppressed they are?

  Several own dogs, so I need to arrange a stoning or a whipping?

  I am being facetious but I am attempting to make a serious point.

  ask Muslims Not from the Middle East or Pakistan what they think of them there, and the response you get is not complimentary.

  They share in disgust the same outragous stories on Facebook that you do. I see them daily.

  How do I know?

  because I ask questions regularly... and my Muslim friends handle it much better than the brand of Christians i grew up with would have.....

  my point is this! there are aa many differences in Islam as in Christianity,

  Now, for some nitpicking facts...

  you. need to be careful about how much personal infor you expect people to reveal on here, it is a safety issue.

  BOTH spellings of the Koran are correct. Only the other week I was criticized for using the Quran one.

  I would suggest that as an athiest feminist I have every right to have an opinion on these issues.

  I can answer from first hand experience . I grew up in an uber JW step family. aside from the abuse I experienced, I witnessed child abuse first hand, with my own eyes.

  I was forbidden to report it to anyone except my stepfather, an uber elder , who basicaly was a pig.

  the abuser, who was of course a victim himself! went on to abuse many many many others.

  THAT was what brought shame on the witnesses...it was disgusting. The person who made me cover it up should have been charged over that. he would have been now.

  I too spend a lot of time in a Muslim country, but a mainstream one.

  I don't see behaviour like that at all.

  I have read the Koran, as I have read the Bbile.

  The Muslims I work regularly with are hard working decent honest people,

  the women own their own businesses.

  as to compare the time that Mohammed lived, I do hope you are willing to compare it to the BarbarIan's my Celtic ancestors were.

  if you were a jw and lived in germany in wwii, how would you deal with the harsh cruelity of hitler?

  would you join his side so you may have a chance to live (meaning you'd serve in the miliatry and be on the front line) or would you keep on serving god and be executed?

  there is no way that tattoos will stop the next generation from job opportunities , those days are long gone, I would estimate that 80 percent of the twenty to thirties I know have them.
