Here’s a thought for debate.
The eight think tanks ( and I’m speaking seriously) are selling off Kingdom Halls by the score! Inconveniencing hall
goers everywhere. If I was the one doing this I would have a definite goal in mind including and besides money. Assume for a moment I am the GB. I get congregations to to agree (not that they have a choice) to abandon their halls ( which they have bought and paid and sweated for) . I sell off and make a profit which I use whichever way I choose. A few years later ( say between 5-10 ) I state that Jehovah understands the inconvenience that hall goers are experiencing and because of the unexpected growth in numbers new halls need to be built. Once again the congregations are sent to individual houses for meetings and contribute( read slave, save ,sacrifice ,starve) and start building new halls. ( GB i.e. I offers loans which I exploit insidiously) and guess what! Rince and repeat! Any financial advisor to the GB worth his salt would advice and propagate this formula!
Hows that for a GB mutual fund plan?!
Also:Keep in mind they have approx. 8 million members who believe implicitly in what I say even if I’m pulling it out of my ass!
Also assume that they return close to but not exactly where their old kdumb halls existed.
This hypothesis is based on the belief of actual believers inside the organization who truly believe that that the RAC was a triumph for Mark Sanderson who was speaking the truth. And that the GB is the mouthpiece for their desert god. Also they’ve stated ( was this in 2009 Or 2010) that 72 more new kdumb halls need to be built around the country most of them in California?) Let us say they harp on that “ prediction”, beamed to their craniums by no less than Jober himself!)

Wacky Baccy Eh! Cannabis Now Legal in Canada
by Simon inso canada has legalized pot / marijuana / cannabis and you can go to stores today and buy some.
the local news is covering it here in calgary with crowds of thousands expected at one of only 2 stores licensed in the city but last i saw, there were only 7 people in the line so who knows how popular it will be.
i imagine all the people who really wanted to get it could already get it easily so this is more about expanding the market to new users who will be less inclined to queue for hours on day 1.. apparently you'll also be able to purchase online with discreet delivery by canada post.

Marriage and Marijuana
In Canada, the government, in its eternal wisdom, recently passed two laws.
They are:
1. Legalized gay marriage
2. Legalized marijuana
Legalizing gay marriage and marijuana at the same time now makes perfect Biblical sense.
Leviticus 20:13 says: "If a man lies with another man they should be stoned.” Apparently we just hadn't interpreted it correctly before!

Simon: Both teachers and parents believe the system fails, and many are begging for a better system, and yet they then go to the ballot and vote back in the same bunch of people to prop up the same system.
Agreed. But here’s where the rope rubs.
Here in Southern California - Los Angeles - it’s billionares like Eli Broad, owners of Walmart and a host of other billionaires mates who want a slice of the pie called Education- more specifically the money that it brings. They spend millions on voter turnout ,TV adverts, and propaganda to Support their chosen candidates. Against them there is the UTLA ( United teachers Los Angeles) - a lone union and its few supporters who are battling against mighty odds with meager funds. The are trying to educate parents about the billionares takeover of public schools in order to get them out and vote. So far with little success given the last board elections. Isn’t surprising as voters are uneducated, ruled by emotion and to an extent racially inclined. That’s why a crooked hen like Monica Garcia gets voted in despite being the queen of the corrupt. Hence the Catch -22 situation.
LATIMES is pro LAUSD management , so won’t report anything negative- not surprising- as they are controlled by the billionare club. Any wonder them why we have a system that’s a failure but is being propped up by very people who have brought it down to its knees!

Humbled: That is just one . The number of schools is in the hundreds. Yet not a single media source cares to do an expose on the corruption rampant at the top levels of management.

Teachers in LAUSD get paid for a 6 hour day for 10 months in a year. Yes the are not paid for 2 months of the year. However the 10 month pay is divided into 12 months so the teachers get paid “every month”.
The teachers union is the only thing standing between complete takeover by a corrupt board backed by greedy billionaires . It’s th only thing standing between complete takeover of the district by the charter leaning board.
On a off note- charter schools have the options of cherry picking students. Public schools don’t have that option.

Recovering, I don't know! And that's the frustrating part!
The only thing that keeps these schools functioning at all is the extra Title I money that provides for some equalizing and stabilizing. It provides breakfast for students. It provides extra staff for things like alternate learning areas for students who are disturbed so they don't affect the rest of the classroom. It provides extra teachers for smaller class sizes so the teacher has more time for personal (read remedial) help for each individual student. It can provide money for things like security cameras for safety. It can provide after school programs for homework help and mentoring. It can buy only what money can buy, which is a lot, but it's not enough!
While this is true of some school districts others might not be using title 1 money’s for what it is meant for.
LAUSD has a touted surplus of 1.7 billion. No librarians, No fine arts or Art. Ranks 46th in the nations n as far as class size . Take an average of 35-40 per class. Discipline shot to hell . No suspensions no Expulsions allowed. No janitors . Classrooms in schools I know swept one a week if at all.
They now have something called Restorative Justice- borrowed and modified from the prison system - without the consequences for regular offenders. Teachers scoff at the stupid idea and it’s failure to cut the mustard.
Did I mention the board members gave themselves a 179 percent ( not sure maybe 187percent ) raise a year or so ago. And they want to turn the whole shebang into Charter.
Students with 4th and 5th grade reading skills are in high school. Teachers are compelled to give them passing grades for fear of being questioned as to why they have so many failures in the class.
These are some of the obvious problems faced by the teaching community which no one wishes to question or talk about.

What are you guys talking about! Architects and builders from all over are asking for their designs.
But the GB wants the praise to go to Jobo god so they refuse to let anyone have the blueprints!!!
