  before responding, keep in mind that certain parameters (such as content and page count) ought to be met before any printed material intended for mass distribution can be categorized as a “magazine”.

  for example, the absolute minimum range for any publication to be considered a magazine is typically around 32 to 48 pages while the highest page counts are usually around 128 to 160, with some popular women’s fashion magazines coming in quite a bit higher than that.. so with that said, which is now the world’s most widely circulated magazine?.

  Ditto. At age 19...

  Became a JW 30 years later... fast forward 7 years and realized the bible was a book of lies and the GB was it's spawn...an incestuous pit of corrupt philosophy and predetorial charlatans masquerading as the answer to all of man's problems.

  Why it took me 7 years to see through them is a mystery to me...No not so. Information about them only became available to me 3 years into my sojourn as a JW.

  Interesting conversation with a JDub regarding kingdom songs.

  was out side a jdubs house while they were playing kingdom songs.

  this is how the conversation went.. me: did you realize that one of their kingdom songs was a copy from the jurassic park theme song.. jdub: where did you find this.

  me: hey i've got the down load to the movie, and that theme song has a striking resemblance to that song you just played.

  What do you guys do there?

  "We honor the death of Jesus as he has asked us to do"

  Did he ask you guys to honor pedophiles too?

  Because your organization protects pedophiles ..that is elders and others ..with your "two witness" rule.

  "And where did you get that information?"

  From court douments in the UK, Australia, and a host of other countries.Not the least the US of A.

  Has anybody, your children who live with you included ever witnessed you and your wifes intimacies? I don't want to seem crude but I'm trying to make a point here so bear with me.

  Then no "two witnesses" exist who can testify that you and your wife have ever had sex. Why ? Because sex is a private act, unless you are in the porn industry.

  How do you people expect a child to produce two witnesses who have seen him/her raped by an adult ? Do pedophiles have two man audiences when they are perpetrating their evil deeds?

  So then. Why do your leaders protect the thousands of pedophiles within your org. With the "two witness" rule? A rule given to you by your God yu say?

  "Yes It is from our holy book The Bible. But there must be some explanation about that , some more details about the "two witness" rule that we are following of which I am not aware of at the moment". I feel you have been misinformed about our organization."

  NO my good man It is you who is misinformed. Now as for your invitation. I'll start attending the memorial of your man jesus whose god is Jehova as is yours- when you come back with a justifiable answer as to why yu protect pedophiles..and in effect your god and his son jesus since he made that rule..with a rule that has no relevance in this modern world? There are policing methods that can establish rape quickly if the victim is allowed to be examined by a medical professional immediately after the attack but your organization prevents that from happening by encouraging victims and their parents to be quiet about it and wait on Jehovah.

  "I don't believe this. Where do you get all this information from"

  I've already given you that answer. Do some research into your organization's policies and the come back and we'll discuss this. If you come back soon enough with some satisfactory answers maybe we could go to the memorial together.

  Assembly Dramas:They were so bad.... but.... you waited for them to break away from the monotony!

  you do remember the four day assemblies... sitting outdoors being fried in the sweltering heat,getting heat stroke in the middle of july in an outdoor baseball stadium.sitting outdoors from 9:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. was so much fun while you wore a suit,long sleeve shirt and a tie while your brain fried.

  mom's who had children to take care of,lug strollers,feed all the kids,take them for bathroom breaks and try to not faint from the heat.. the sound and audio was always breaking and barely audible from the wind,airplanes flying over and (if you attended the cicero,illinois circuit )you would smell horse manure from the horse stables next door.. you know that you are a jehovah's witness.... when the only excitement waiting for the drama... where brothers and sisters dress up in ancient cloths,fake beards,fake rocks and fake soldier uniforms and wave their hands incessantly to pretend that they are acting out a drama.the excitement was unbearable!.

  I've seen school plays that are superior in every way to the crap presented in the JW dramas. What used to freak me out was the way they spoke of the dramas after - as if they had just witnessed a Tony winning performance worthy of being cast on Broadway. That's the problem with JW land . Conditioned mentally to believe everything they do is the best.Like their public speaking. The crappy gestures and injunctions given out by a long outdated book that they use. That make for crappy speakers that they produce. Even the bible reading was pathetic. Especially the eldubs. I have never been more bored by anything I've seen or heard than the dramas , talks and bible reading at the JW performances.

  God answers JW prayers about trivialities while ignoring the abuse of little children

  i've heard many experiences about how jehovah answers the prayers of jw's - convention items about pioneers gas bills, car repairs, job opportunities.

  now, if this is true, you are actually stating that god has directly intervened in your life.

  taken action on your behalf.

  What intrigued me was the question ...that is before I came to the realization that it was a book cooked up by the Jews to keep themselves in line with their leaders's veiws....was the criteria Hobo used to choose good ole Abe and his progeny as His people. What I wondered at was how come there wasn't a single person on earth at the time who could match him for goodness? And what was so good about him? He almost let his wife have her virtue violated. Was willing to murder his son on hearing g a voice asking him to do so? Or was it an angel or a dream? Hell too effing immaterial to remember. Was it a piece if flaming lumber? Who cares . The book is so full of s***. The same flawed principle is carried through in the prayer business. Pick and choose who yu wanna listen to, who yu wanna make rich or famous or a criminal or a Judas.

  There's a friend , catholic, who prayed to St. Anthony for the return of a lost ear ring. Two months ago. Expensive. Found it 3 dys later in the trash. Believes implicitly that prayers are answered. Similar to an example given in another post above. Prayer helps in finding an ear ring . But doesn't when asking in anguish for a terminal disease or malady or hunger to be ameliorated or ended.

  Typical human traits pinned on to an imaginary sky pilot.
