Sleep Problems
by lambsbottom inso, about a week and a half ago i finally realized that i am not longer one of jws, since i don't believe they are god's organization.. however, for two weeks, i have slept horrible!
my spouse thinks its stress.
i sleep all night but just don't feel that rested in the morning.

by airborne ini learned yesterday that the finished mystery (studies in the scriptures vii) by charles taze russell and published posthumously in 1918 is now available on amazon kindle for 99 cents.
this is the quality spiritual food that the governing body claims is the basis for jesus appointing it as the faithful and discreet slave in 1919 according to peter gregerson in his talk on youtube.. from what i understand there are some really fantastical claims and ideas in it.
there is no way they are appointed by god if this is the basis for the appointment.

nothing special, just 2006.. but when you analyse the jw doctrine, it is another nail in their already 91 nail studded coffin.
the watchtower has for decades taught that jesus' presence and rulership began in 1914. since changing the generation of 1914 doctrine, a whole decade has passed, with little in the way of anything new.

This is ... I can't think of a cussword appropiate enough to describe my feelings. Years ago, 1983 to be exact, when studying with a JW, I asked him why doesn't the WBTS preach on T.V? His reply".. Jesus taught us to preach from door to door. Tele-evangelists do that and we don't want to follow their example." Sonovabitch!! Looks like the tele-evangelists got the better of Jesus!!!

What does the building of Warwick HQ have to do with the Society's expectation of the end?
by Apognophos inthis topic is a couple years late, but i just wanted to get this off my chest.
i don't understand why people say that the society starting a project that won't finish until 2017 means that the end can't come until then, or that they don't expect the end before then.
this isn't a very logical line of thought.

Why build anything after AMG? Land wil be free, materials will be free. weather and climate will be absolutely perfect-not too hot not too cold-not too much rain; if it did you could go and shelter under bushy leafed trees! Take a D*** behind bushes- different bushes for men and women of course in different parts of the compound lest flesh fall prey to flesh!!! No need to cook .New trees with nutritious fruit to take care of all nutritional and medicinal... ( sorry delete please. I forgot.
