"Sitting on apark bench
Eying little girls with bad intent...."
Aqualung..Jethro Tull!!
what song would you dedicate to the wt if you knew they would be listening?
put the title or post some of the lyrics for those of us that may not know it.
first thing that comes to my mind.. are the following... .
"Sitting on apark bench
Eying little girls with bad intent...."
Aqualung..Jethro Tull!!
does anyone have the link to dl the wt library?
i was looking for some mag from the 1900s and see that the jw org site only goes back to 2000.
Marked. Thankyou everyone!
im recalling a time when i sat and circled words in a watchtower article, indicating strongly the fact that it is in fact the writters opinion.. however just the suggestion in the sentence these words are ignored.. for example.
it is our understanding.
we believe this to be the case.
Circumlocutory, prevaricating,mealymouthed,equivocating,dissimulative S.O.Bs of a bastard religion !
Now that I've got that off my capricious chest here's a thought. Every religion was made by males. All of them are wrong. Females had nothing to do with them.
Maybe if the gentler gender put their maiden heads together we might hit on one that isn't so homosexu....!! Heck I got that wrong too...Damn I need another drink!!!
Curse their "vacillatory", mendacious indoctrination ! Duplicitious G.B. pups from Perfidious whores!!
I'm done for! They've made me hopelessly ambivalent now!! Where's that damn drink!!!
i wanted to thank so many who have taken the time and effort to read and recommend captives of a concept over the past decade.. for those who have not seen it, there is an interview on youtube that may have helped some witnesses begin the process of getting the sense of the way the watchtower religion actually works.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5trkrpia-3q.
don cameron.
.
Just went on my "Immediate Read" list .Thank You.
okay, i posted this in a thread that got locked and buried.
since then i've been really busy and have overdosed on christmas music in the past week.
so, i'm resurrecting this "holy day" holiday that most people will unknowingly be celebrating tomorrow.
Tony -the- turd has graciously agreed to be Father Pantamus- if we promise solemnly -on our apostate word of honor - not to bugger him while he bends over to kiss his tight -ass- timothy- bottom; as a penitent gesture for his artless remarks on constricting lower- body-wear!!
Tickets to view this phenomenal contortionistic feat ,are available at JW.Org. First come first serve.
a wall is a wall, right?
question: what if each day a brick was removed and replaced with wood?.
the watchtower religion pretends to be like a brick wall built of truth.. however, each brick of truth been replaced with wood (changing opinion.).

one of the most important sources that we have for the most ancient stages of the religion of israel are some epic texts about the gods of canaan that were found in an archaeological excavation in a place called ras shamra (ancient ugarit) early in the twentieth century.
these epics reveal a very rich ancient canaanite mythology, especially in the elaborated stories of the gods el and baal and their rivals and consorts.
while, of course, the israelite branch of the canaanite group partly defined itself through the rejection of this mythology, much of the imagery and narrative allusions that we find in the works of the israelite prophets, the psalms, and other biblical poetic texts are best illuminated through comparison with these ancient texts.
Thanks Doug. I'll keep that in mind.
ok, since all the evidence and people/scholars etc, all agree that jerusalem was destroyed in 587/586 bce and not 607 bce.
how do the jw's get the extra 20 years, i understand the 2520 years and going back from 1914. but alot of the proof goes by adding up the kings reigns, and it gets you to the 587/586 date, do jw's simply add on a few years for each king, or is their a mystery king that ruled for 20 years that only they know about.. hhhhhhmmmmmmm.
hope my question makes sense.
Marked for future reference
i can't see that there's a posting about the tragic death of australian cricketer, phillip hughes last week.
he was an extraordinary talent, grew up on a cattle farm and, by all accounts, was a thoroughly decent and happy 25 year old man.. he missed hitting a ball bowled at him and was struck by it in the neck: the rock hard ball would have been travelling at about 85km/h.
the blow ruptured an artery causing too much blood to flow into his brain.
Horse racing seems to have had its share of tragedies too.Jockey Caitlin Forrest died in a fall in October in Australia and jockey Juan Saez died a few days ago in the N.Y. U.S.A. Puts a damper on sports. Tragically sad!

Thanks for the book title. Marked.
