our kingdom hall was started in 1973 with only 3 families totaling 13 people.it grew to 85 members in the early 90's and that's because many were related to these 3 families.with older members dying,the young leaving when they reach 18, 5 divorces and many disfellowshipped,the congregation is down to 26 members.talk about low morale.

seeing as i have the wt in front of me today, i thought you'd enjoy the questions from readers from the february 15, 2007 article on the evils and pagan origins on toasting or clinking of glasses.

the article specifically mentions how not everything today that was of pagan origin is necessarily bad, and sites "wedding rings" as being of pagan origin, but it's not viewed like that now.

then, incredibly, they go on and say that while toasting might not be considered a religious practice today, there's "good reason" for christians to avoid it------without giving any valid reason why other than: do as we say:.

Not really knowing what all is going on...I just want to say "I am sorry" you are tired.

Parenting is one of the toughest jobs. Lately I have wished I never had kids because they aren't honoring me.

New job New Life

after all the crap of 2006 i will start a new job 01/0802006 for twice the money and i am leaving my hateful daughter behind.

i know that sounds cruel, but all they have done is try to hurt me and i am going on.

I think IF my adult children were no longer JW's, I would be completely recovered.

Instead, I feel very sad and alone and alienated in life.
