He was devastated and I was there for him for months afterward, sacrificing my time to help him when he was low, always there when he needed to get his feelings out.

I can't get to grips with being shunned
by chuckyy inmy wife and i have been disassociated for about 2 months now.
every day in our small town we are being shunned by former friends.
one in particular annoyed me today.

My dad and his corn...why?

I don't know if your dad had good jokes or what (to me) but I knew an Elder actually from the Bethel of Louvier SARAPOCCIELLO or something ... That Narkissos Knew as he told me ... and can confirme that with him you actually could have real fun at the KH !!! it have been the only time I considered to go at every meeting (for a bit less than 6 months though) then I moved anyway back to Paris !

Actually that reminds me something :
It was about the ex I stayed 11 year with ... we were on COLD MODE ... anyway I offered him a silver Man Bracelet (don't know how you call that) ... and I've got a silver mixed with gold ring (still have it but don't were it) the probleme was that it actually looked like a Wedding ring (for me probably look like I'm married or something) I fell like it was a way to appear like married(everyboy knew I've got a man anyway - but at that time he was feeling inconfortable because of were I was working - I was surrounded with lots of men there) I've asked him why it was looking as a wedding ring and not like why not a fiance ring ... and as he didn't give me any coherent answer ... I wore it on the other hand for a while, as he didn't like that ... I've stoped wearing it !

Swimming anyone??
by chrissee inthis is a picture of a catfish that a guy recently caught at lake texhoma.
according to the news, he was fishing from the shore with a 20 pound test line.
when he realized what a huge fish he had caught, he stayed in the water with it .

I got the info from an email, so not sure of it authenticity other than that it's a really big fish!!
I can ask to my friends they are professionnal they might even know the guy's if they are professionals/amateurs known fishers too/ I've wanted to poste a picture with one of my friend who's got a record for a "MARLIN" that he fished from a boot far in the see (professional sportive fishers) 369 KG 80 LB which is a record in LOME of weight in this area for this fish but the real record is about how much time it took him to have this BIG ONE : in 50 Minutes (usually for this kind of fish it takes about at least 2 hours from what he says)
I don't find the plug for my scanner the pic shows that the FISH is impressive almost twice the size of a man wide and 3 men long from bottom to top(at least). If I find my plug I'll post it !!! Because of his habillity this guy is invited everywhere by rich fishermen who wants him aboard !!!

just found this site today and as well as being amused, concerned and shocked at some of the stuff i?ve found here, reading the bios and posts of other ex jw?s has in a way made me feel a little bit less alone in the world.
don?t get me wrong, i?m not an emotionally scared loner, it?s like i?ve finally found someone else to stand outside morning assemble with.

Suicide
by Rico El Vato inmy 30-year old daughter committed suicide on 11-13-2004. we had both been jw's who had left the borg.
she had been diagnosed as bipolar.
i did a search from the top of the page to see if this topic has been covered but it did not work.
