following on from some other threads, i thought i'd start a whinge thread.

My whinge,
This darn neckbrace I have two wear for at least 2 more weeks from my recent surgery. I have to wear it 24 hours a day ( except when I shower ) and trying to sleep with it is so uncomfortable.

i found out friday morning that 2 of my cousins took a trip to new orleans last week without telling my aunt....but they are adults so.... anyway, they're known to take off to have fun (usually to gamble) so i didn't think much about it last weekend but time went on and my aunt got really worried.
my older brother started calling around to mutual friends and found out that they went to new orleans last week.
so to make a long story short my aunt just called saying my cousins are in someplace called new roads.
Glad they are safe and well. That must have been pretty scary!

yes, school has started, and i guess this means that many moms will be on vacation starting today..

ok guy`s,this is my last post for a while.so i`m going to do a topic to gross you all out..lol!..what is the worst medical emergency you`ve had,that you`ve had to take care of yourselves?..i`ve had many.as i sometimes live in the "canadian wilderness",i have to be my own docter.lately i cut my hand badly,could have used about 8 stitch`s.i closed the wound up myself.then i broke a tooth,what was left had to be pulled.so i pulled it..friggin blood everywhere,and a nice chunk of flesh on the tooth i just pulled.lol!...take care of yourselves jw.com..i`m going to miss you,but i`ll be back..now post something really gross..lol!

I burned my arm trying to take dinner out of the oven. My arm stuck to the oven door and I had to pull it off. My skin turned white. Boy did that hurt and for some time too!

mine is a lab/boxer mix.
she is about 8 months now and thinks she is a lap dog!
she is as graceful as a cat, and can be on my lap in about a second with no notice.
OMG! Buttons and Chyna are my babies. I love them so much and they are so spoiled. I can't imagine them not being around. Let me stop now before I start to cry. They are so so sweet! They are 2 year old tuxedo cats and they are sisters. Here is a pic of them when they were about 1. Aren't they the cutest? Buttons is in the front and Chyna in the back.

a couple of years ago, the red cross had several blood donation trailers set up at a festival .
since i had time to kill, i donated.
it seems like there is always a critical blood supply shortage hard to deal with?
