For the order and laws that regulate our life on earth would beg the notion of at least a "law of emergence" for a begining or self assembly. The world as it appears, seems to operate within a system, or things that can be relied upon to happen.

after several years of a great friendship with diane (previously posted as xena) things have started to really come together recently and i've succumbed to making an honest woman of her (or at least as honest as it's possible to make her.
last night (xmas day) i popped the question and she agreed to marry me (i wonder if she knows what she's let herself in for!!!)..

Who is Jesus
by soulfinder inhey everyone, i'm new here and i would really like to discuss your views on who jesus is.. please feel free to list any scripture, and i will do the same.. here are a few scriptures that may help:.
1. in the book of isaiah 7:14 jehovah prophesied that there would be a child born of a virgin, and that his name would be immanuel, which means god with us.. 14 therefore the lord himself will give you a sign: the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him immanuel (which means god with us).. 2. in the book of john, jesus also encourages us to pray to him by saying "if you ask anything in my name, i will do it.".

Lurkers: Why the Watchtower REALLY Opposes Holidays
by metatron inno doubt many of you used to wonder why so many potential jehovah's witnesses had a problem with dropping the celebration of holidays,.
especially christmas.
i can recall some publishers wondering aloud why their bible studies were ready to swallow watchtower doctrines.

These are all great points. In reality the rabbit hole goes even deeper. Just the thought, the mere simple thought of suggesting this to my mom, can be construed as tactics of Satan. These notions are easily "cut off at the pass" an veiwed as having no merit.
Thats the kicker, theres such a lock on the mind its almost frightening. To see my mom, a grown respected women be humbled to a vegetive state though a concept of men, is sickening.
