.......i just noticed your post........can't say i blame you for thinking that.

i mentioned i'm currently an elder and don't plan on leaving the organization...........but i probably won't be an elder much longer......as i'm not exactly the "ball of fire" they want.

please tell me which of my propositions are provably false and therefore biblically inadmissible.. the godhead is a heavenly trio of three living persons: the father, the son, and the holy spirit (matthew 28:19, 3:13-17, 2 corinthians 13:14, ephesians 4:4-6, 1 peter 1:2 and revelation 1:4,5).the father is all the fullness of the godhead bodily, and is invisible to mortal sight.the son is all the fullness of the godhead manifested (colossians 2:9 cf.

The Father has always been invisible to mortal sight but this may not always be the case when mankind takes on immortality as promised in prophecy.

False. The scriptures teach that there are many God?s, some of which are human such as Moses or Christ .

Who's feet in Zechariah 14:4 will touch the mountain of the olive in Jerusalem, the same place where Jesus rose to heaven. (Mt Olive)

And why in Zec 14:9 does Jehovah become king if he is already King of Kings and Lord of Lords?

Zech 8:3 Jehovah says "I will return to Zion and reside in the midst of Jerusalem"

9:9 "be joyful your king himself comes to you... ' riding on an ass"

I believe there's more to consider than just disposing of the trinity. To me its easier to align the trinity persons than to dismantle them.

only preaching is not a way for true christians

could it be that different organisations just work on different ways to promote a christian life?

this means while wts is only active in preaching, others are active in social help, others ... well in other works.

that problem came into our mind by questioning why we are leaving.

But what is the message? They have a false gospel. The WT sales force is tiny compared to what the Mormons are doing. The average dub hates to hear this fact. Not that the Mormons are pedaling a better message. Its seems though the LDS' have a more family oriented presentation.

Do Jw men treat wives as Christ treats the church?

what has irked me lately is the way my mothers husband (elder bob) treats mom.

in typical jw fashion subserviant, always careful in speaking out of turn esspecially our weekly study( "bible study") er book study.. i have to find a way to work in the reference of treating wives the way christ treats the church and let elder bob stew on that, but being careful not to plant seeds of resentment, with mom.

Yes it comes with baggage. Lest we forget this is "Gods Organization" And since God has appointed the "elder" Doesnt God know that elder lofty is going to act the role. Would not Gods appointment come with the follow through of treating your own spouse as Christ treats the church?

Most jws will tell you in a smug way that love is following at the kingdom hall.

And after all to the Jws Jesus was a good man, not some traits they impart to others. I truley believe they will act like they "get along" not because they want to, but because they have to.

While trying not to paint the jw man with a broad stroke, it seems you hit a point, where being dominent is a sign of weakness, in that allowing the org to think for and give strict guidelines in how women should be treated.

A jw woman can rule the house agreed, but that rule stops at the house and will never seep into the "the good ole boys" at the Hall.

Agreed,

I feel elder bob would explain away as Jesus just being a "good man" example. I feel I have to hit with a concrete point " love her as christ loves the church. But trying to be subtle, as moms been sitting in on our bible er book study.

things that make you go AGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!!!!

kingdom melodies did it for me everytime.. i tired so hard not to have uncharitable thoughts about the ppl who wrote the tunes and words to the kingdom melodies.

there were about 2 that i could stomach.. the rest were so totally uninspiring and mechanical.. .i can say that apart from maybe 2 i didnt get any up lifting joy from them.. elders complained that ppl wern't learning the tunes and singing properly.they got realy irritated over it .but i really really hate the dam songs .

eveyone sounded totally joyless
