"All things are continuing exactly the same as from creation's beginning" is the thinking attributed to those ridiculers of Christ's presence. Because the sign of Christ's invisible presence must be accepted on faith and faith is not a possession of all people, faithless ones are willfully blinded to the evidence that the system is nearing its hour of judgment. In this the 2nd week of August 2001, the evidence steadily mounts that apostate ridiculers of Jehovah's word are very badly mistaken and about to be spanked with a very large paddle. As the scene of the world grows steadily more ominous, even the sons of this system of things recognize that the world is rapidly reaching an historic turning point.
Almost exactly 10 years ago the mighty Soviet Union suddenly went out of business. Leading up to that momentous event very few observers had any inkling that such a thing would occur. Yet, Soviet Communism was unceremoniously brushed into the dustbin of history. The amazing thing is that such a totalitarian tyrant went off so quietly into the night. Now, just 10 years after capitalism's supposed victory over communism, the entire Anglo-American system is faced with its own collapse and humiliation. True, very few have the capacity to even imagine that the mighty U.S. could ever be brought to her knees, but that's exactly the way the majority of so-called experts felt about the Soviet empire all the way up until the USSR went belly up. As an example, the CIA came under criticism at the time for failing to forsee the demise of the "evil empire." Obviously, only a handful of people ever has the vision to see beyond the present continuum.
The difference between the collapse of communism and the collapse of capitalism should be obvious. In the case of the demise of the USSR, at the time Western powers evidently guaranteed the Soviets that they would assist them into the capitalist system and that there would be mutual cooperation between the two super powers. However, in the case of the impending crash of the capitalist system such a non-violent transition is unlikely for numerous reasons, which are beyond the scope of this post.
At any rate, the fatal assumption of apostates is that Jehovah's word and will cannot be accomplished in connection with the Watchtower Society if enough reproach is heaped upon us by our accusers for our failed expectations and mis-interpretations of prophecies. Such spiritual morons are unable to comprehend that Jehovah's purpose allows for his people to go astray. His word is by no means nullified and his day "keeps panting on to the end." As Isaiah writes: "Truly you are a God keeping yourself concealed, the God of Israel, a Savior. They will certainly be ashamed and even be humiliated, all of them."
So it is that Jehovah has kept himself concealed, along with crucial truths contained in the Bible that are apparently not "food at the proper time"---yet. The revelation of Jehovah's judgments upon his people and the world will self-evidently come about when once the foretold judgment begins. That's the way it works.
Let the ridiculer please take note that Jehovah's judgments have in the past directly come upon three previous empires of Bible prophecy; namely, Egypt, Assyria, and Babylon; and less directly upon Persia, Greece, and Rome. The Anglo-American dyad is yet to come under Jehovah's judgment. But the unmistakable handwriting on the wall is beginning to appear. For those fluent in the dialect of prophecy it spells D-O-O-M for the Anglo-American system of things.
In spite of the advance outline of knowledge that the apostate has kindly been given regarding God's judgments to come, even in the face of the facts now steadily emerging that the Anglo system is rapidly headed toward a catastrophic crash, the stupefied apostate no doubt will imagine that these developments are purely coincidental and that they have no relevance to Bible prophecy at all. That will merely serve to make the triumph of Jehovah's kingdom all the more glorious. / You Know
