    When I was a JW, I always figured that I couldn't judge someone if the sentence might be death. But other than that, I could do it. I never really looked into (or cared) what the society said, that was my personal view at the time. But I never got called.
    I was called once since then, but just sat in a room for 6 hours and never got a case. I think I'd like to serve on a jury, if I ever get a chance.

    (my glasses are dirty and I'm not wearing them, hope I spelled everything properly :)

    I have just been tapped for FEDERAL jury duty. Not sure yet if I will actually be called, but the letter says that I am on call for the whole month of September, and they are MUCH stricter about letting people out of it. I didn't even try to get out of it- probably won't be called anyways - plenty of government workers around here to fill the slots and still get paid in full from their jobs.
