    Song 217

    10 min: Local announcements. Selected announcements from Our KM. Use the suggestions on page 8 ( in appropriate for your territory) to demonstrate how to offer the May 15 WT and the May 22 Awake. Other realistic presentations may be used. In one of the presentations, demonstrate offering the magazines informally on public transportation.

    15 min: Use God's Word to Reach the Heart. A talk based on the 2/1/05 WT, pages 28-31. Analyze how Jesus used the Scriptures to help Peter. Discuss how we can follow Jesus' example when there is a need to adjust the thinking and feelings of our children, our Bible students and even ourselves.

    20 min: "Make a Practical Family Schedule." In an introductory talk of less than two minutes, highlight the value of a written schedule and discuss how to fill out the blank schedule on page 6. follow iwth a question-and-answer discussion of the article "Family Schedule - Congregation Meetings." Invite audience to comment on how they keep other activities from interfering iwth congregation meetings. Additional aspects of the family schedule will be considered in the following weeks.

    Song 176 and concluding prayer

    ----someone with a scanner simpy must scan the family schedule. It's really funny. It breaks each day of the week down into morning, afternoon and evening. The daily text is to be considered every morning, along with sunday WT study and public talk and saturday Family field service. Monday evening is family study night, meetings one tuesday and thursday. The rest (not that there is much time left after adding in prep time for the meetings) is to be filled in by you.

    Don't you know that is the same schedule Jesus used?

    It is interesting to note how this program is sandwiched between two WT study articles on parents and children. That is no accident.

    I can see that the WTS is leaking like a sieve regarding the children of their members. We have discussed on JWD how few people come in from the outside, and if the children do not stay, coupled with people who are DF'd, DAing, or fading. many countries may post decreases in the years to come.

    Oh, I can't resist - the nurses aren't lookin'!!!!

    Now how the hell do you offer the magazines "informally"?? Surely you offer them or you don't? What's this informal thingy? Duh.

    Blondie - you mentioned the meeting being sandwiched between two WT study articles on raising children. Did you know that the June 15 WT has two very similar study articles?

    <sound of rebel8 gagging>

    Now they are actually putting their control of JWs' everyday movements in writing...but it's not a high control group, right?

    "...need to adjust the thinking and feelings..." - sure beat them up over and over until they comply with lots of pills and juice. Hooray! The Organization is falling apart at the seams and we will WITNESS its demise.

    What is sad is that this organization will not be destroyed in a spectacular uprising for the entire world to see... instead it will slowly die with a quiet whimper as it gradually bleeds to death.

    I found it interesting that they list Monday night as Family Study night. I wonder if they'll begin to push this. Perhaps that will open the way to get rid of one meeting? They'll provide assigned material for your family study and an elder, your old Cong. Bookstudy Overseer will check up on you once a month or so to make sure you're covering it. That way you're still under their thumb but you feel better because you're at home not the KH.
