First heard about the Witnesses in 1976, when my mom started studying.
First attended meetings regularly in Fall 1977.
Left in mind and spirit in 1988-1989.
But did not fully leave until 1992 when I moved from home.

Family started studying in spring of '79.
I got dunked in fall of '80 (two days after I turned twelve)
Many years of trying to be a "good" witness, failing miserably.
Met monkey-boy in fall of '98- just after I turned 30. Caught hell from the elders about having a worldly boyfriend.
Last meeting was the memorial, two years ago. I'm not da'd or df'd, just well-faded.

Baptized November 25th 1973. CO Floyd Kite (spelling?) gave the baptism talk.
I was disfellowshipped and re-instated on the same day in November 1981 then disassociated myself in August 1984 was re-instated January 1985 then disfellowshipped for the final time July 1 1988.
September 1990 I realized the Jehovah's Witnesses are not "the Truth"
