Men have facial hair and women don't, and that's God who decided that.
So why can't brothers have beards or goatees.

This issue goes back the Russell / Rutherford days.
After Russell died and Rutherford took over, Rutherford did not like the way many of the men protested his actions by wearing a beard like the one Russell wore. To stamp out this "rebellious" behavior, Rutherford banned all beards.

This brings up an interesting irony about the whole beard thing. Men are required to keep their beards shaved while women who grow them are NOT required to shave them.I can't be the only one who noticed how many bearded women are in the WTS.
