From the new Organized to Do Jehovah?s Will (OD) pages 18, 19. This is from a new chapter (3) in the book ?Trusting the Faithful and Discreet Slave?

WHY TRUST "THE FAITHFUL AND DISCREET SLAVE"

There are many reasons to have complete trust in the slave class. First and foremost, Jesus has appointed them over all his precious "belongings." This is a clear indication that he has complete trust in them.

Second, God's Word admonishes Christians to cooperate fully with those taking the lead. Why is this to our advantage? As recorded at Hebrews 13:17, the apostle Paul stated: "Be obedient to those who are taking the lead among you and be submissive, for they are keeping watch over your souls as those who will render an account; that they may do this with joy and not with sighing, for this would be damaging to you." For our spiritual protection and well-being, it is incumbent upon us to be obedient and submissive to direction from overseers as they 'keep watch over our souls.'

As recorded at 1 Corinthians 16:14, Paul stated: "Let all your affairs take place with love." Decisions made in behalf of God's people are influenced by this superior quality of love. Regarding love, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 states: "Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails." Since love dominates all of the decisions that are made for the benefit of Jehovah's servants, we have every reason to feel secure under such direction. Moreover, this is simply a reflection of Jehovah's love for all his people.

Through much hardship and experience, the slave class has demonstrated that the spirit of God is with it. Abundant blessings have been poured out upon the visible part of Jehovah's organization today, and therefore, we wholeheartedly give it our full support and trust.

I read this information yesterday and thought to myself that the GB presumptuously put themselves into the position of the FDS and then built on that. You can?t go wrong if the first requirement is that everyone believes you have to be who you say you are.

"Jesus has appointed them over all his precious "belongings."

Where do they get that idea from?

The classic example of WTS manipulation nice words for the gullible but full of deception when critically examined, I picked out four transparent lies/grandiose claims 1.Jesus has appointed them over all his precious belongings, he has complete trust in them. 2.Decisions made (by the FDS)in behalf of God's people are influenced by this superior quality of love. 3.Through much hardship and experience, the slave class has demonstrated that the spirit of God is with it. 4.Abundant blessings have been poured out upon the visible part of Jehovah's organization today. The truth is the precise opposite of the above. Who is the FDS in reality? The governing body, one dozen individuals, (not even the several thousands of the "remanent") and having come to know their behaviour we can definitely say Jesus has zero respect and trust in them they have treated his flock most unlovingly, they never went through any real hardships obviously they had an easy life with plenty of money and servants and this organisation has little if any divine blessing and people are leaving it in droves. You will recognize the tree from its fruits, no shepard would entrust his flock to a pack of wolves even if they wear sheep's clothing.

No, Jesus has not done so. Therefore, there is no clear indication whatsoever.

I can't believe they continue to say these things... (shaking head in disbelief)

I beg your pardon, but I suspect you are delusional and misguided in using this reasoning. Are you trying to convince anyone other than yourselves? Where did you come up with this off the wall BS, anyway?

Chap. 1: Jehovah is the true God. We acknowledge this by worshiping the Governing Body.

Chap. 2: Jesus has been granted a unique position in His Father's organization. We show that we respect His divine appointment by allowing the Governing Body (as representing the Faithful and Discreet Slave Class) to usurp that position.

Chap. 3: Following and obeying the F&DS is the only way to gain God's approval; it alone is the "way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through [the Governing Body]." (John 14:6)
