My own congregation voted to transfer the deeds and congregation funds to Watchtower, so it was gifted a cool £200,000 (around US $384,000). Then, the congregation moved in with another congregation and jointly constructed a new kingdom hall. So, even though the numbers of JWs in these parts is getting lower, the organisation is getting richer through all the congregations and monies being handed over to it "to further God's will". It's a huge scam and the org is getting away it! It is fast becoming a mega rich owner of real estate!!
