anniversaries are all abouut great sex and expensive presents. Personally Id rather just have the sex without buying the presents.

wow........thanks everybody for caring..it means a lot to me
We have had a lot of changes in the last month.
My husband lost his job 3 weeks ago, a forced resignation (sigh)...
He is gone for 4 weeks, with a temp. job. Now, don't think I am ungrateful for him working, even if it is just temp work.
I have spent at least half a year alone for each year we have lived in this location (going on over 2 years now, that's about 1 year alone) ...I think I am getting tired of being alone. There is non of my family even remotely close. I can go visit, but I will have to go to a few meetings to keep the "front up" (as I am fading)...because of that, I am having nightmares...
Special K: I have lived thru being a single Mom raising a teenage son. I know that feeling all too well.
There is something to say about being totally "alone" in your home for extended periods of time. It is NOT for me.
I don't believe an anniversary is so much about gifts but sharing it with the one you "love"...and I don't even get that priviledge.
Hugs to you all that have posted and yes, each and every post you send me is helping me feel a bit better...
thank you so much...

Have you gone out and gotten into stuff, CB? Take a class or volunteer to read to kids at the school or something like that?
No need to sit in your house alone! And with strange forum assistants lurking in your water closet, I should think you'd be anxious to duck out!

Love to you, CB!
It's impossible to be alone here - we won't let you!
Yes, life is full of ups and downs - so whilst you are down look forward to the up!
With (((((hugs))))) and special thoughts for you and your hubby.
Happy Anniversary!,

CB,
I'm so sorry you're feelin like this. Life sometimes has to get really sucking before it gets better..and then it usually does get better--When you least expect it. That's how it goes with bad stuff but luckily the same goes for the good stuff.
Ya know I'm always here for you
And we all think ya rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
