Tell him he can drop by... if you can have a lawyer present, and tape record it. See what he says.

Forget the baby budha... go get some blue spray paint, and paint that 'Dancin Gopher' - or Santa Claus... and place that on your front porch.

Make it look like a Blue Smurf dancin around... they'll take one look at that and yell "RUN!"

Be sure to remove the batteries afterwards... you wouldn't want to ruin a perfectly good 'smurf' with battery acid.

I'm sure he had another person with him. I think I recognize the number he was calling from.

If three elders show up at your door, it's a Judicial Committee and you are being investigated for "sin"

Not knowing the CO, I can't judge, of course. But I've heard the "we're not out to get anyone" line. It means: "We're willing to spend as much time talking as you want and give you every chance to return to Jehovah's organization." Which from their point of view, is the reasonable, compassionate thing to do. But isn't actually very comforting if you have no intention of returning to Jehovah's organization.

So here's hoping they leave you the bleep alone.

Well, on a serious note, Pater would like to talk to him just to see what the intention is. But we know where that can lead. It's really all very irritating. Once again it's their playing field. We asked ourselves, what can they do, really, if we respectfully but clearly decline to visit with them? But I guess it really depends on the individual BOE in question.... look at the jackasses dealing with Minimom.

Honestly, this BOE is schizophrenic. There are some very kind hearted brothers on there, then there are a few hardliners, real "company men," and one big jackass. So, who knows how things would go? I think it's better just to duck and dodge until they get tired of the game and find someone else to pick on. We haven't really heard much of anything from the congregation in about a year and a half, so maybe it won't take long for them to move on. And other than frequenting this forum, there is really nothing that they can hang on us that we are aware of.
