mamas, my grandparents joined when my mom was about 5 years old on my mom's side, on dad's side my grandmother joined before my dad was born. So I was raised in it and left when I was about 34 or so.

Shunning is such an un-Christian thing to do, especially to your own familiy. I hope, like some here, your family will learn to accept your sexual preference/orientation as openly as you accept...theirs.
