Ouch, Bryan I'm so sorry. I don't know what I'd if that were Jennie's wedding and I was forbidden to attend. Are you going to try to talk to her today, or just let it be?

I have decided to give her her space. No sense in both of us feeling negative, besides I have been told to never call her again. Because I'm EVIL!!

Which by the way, I never responded to Nina about lunch. We are finishing the loading now and getting ready to head out at noon. Sorry we didn't have more time.

    That's rough, Bryan.

I don't know what to say. I'm sorry.

Be strong, and look forward to the day when your daughter is out and you can be with her again.

    HEY...............

Is the wedding at a Kingdom Hall? If so then you can, at least, attend. KH is a public space, even apostates can go there as long as they don't make a scene and keep quiet.

My sister "allowed" me to go the wedding ceremony for this same reason... basically because she couldn't say "NO" to the ceremony at the KH. Maybe go and take a bunch of pictures, if you feel you are up to it? Just a thought.

No worries my friend. There's plenty of time later.

And NO, you are not evil. You are anything but. There will come the day when your daughter realizes what has happened, and how she's hurt you. Until then, it hurts I know.

Wow sorry to hear that Bryan. As much as I try and imagine how you must feel (becasue I have kids of my own) I can't. I hope you can find something positive to do today to offset your emotions a little.

It never ceases to amaze me how this religious group who faught so hard against religious intolerance and bigotry to establish their rights in courts of law practices so rigidly in private what they have condemned so vehemently in public - at least that what it appears to me. JWs are the most anti-family group I have ever met. Hopefully one day your daughter will come out of (what I think) is their brainwashing spell.

    Brian,

As hurtful as this is for you, I'm glad you made it known. You know there'll be some "honest-hearted" folks amongst the lurking dubs who'll feel a twinge of conscience and it just might help them to start questioning. It should!

    Cheers, Ozzie
